What can you do with a Dartmouth Chemistry degree?

Win the Nobel Prize ( Barry Sharpless  ’63).

Or become chancellor of the University of California, San Diego, and winner of the National Medal of Science ( Marye Anne Fox  Ph.D. ’74).

Here are some selected examples of other chemistry alumni. Although this list emphasizes graduates who became professional chemists or professors, most undergraduate chemistry majors go on to careers in other fields, including medicine, law, and business. For more information, see Career Services'  'Majors to Careers'  pages.

Should Your Name Be On This List?
