The John L. Zabriskie Jr. '61 Senior Chemistry Prize

Established in 2004 with funds from an endowment created by John L. Zabriskie Jr. '61 to support undergraduate research by chemistry majors. The Zabriskie Senior Chemistry Prize is awarded as often as annually to honor one or more senior chemistry majors who excelled in undergraduate research.

About John L. Zabriskie Jr. '61

Dr. Zabriskie is Chairman of Cellicon Biotechnologies, Inc., and was Chairman and CEO of Pharmacia & Upjohn, Inc., in the late 1990's. He also serves on the board of the Kellogg Company as well as the boards of several other research, healthcare, and biotechnology companies. He received his PhD in organic chemistry from the University of Rochester in 1965.
