Visiting the Academy
Visitor Management for Student Safety and Security
Welcome!
We welcome scheduled guests to Fairfax Academy. If you are a prospective student, please visit our Student Visit page for information on how to schedule your visit.
Thank you to all visitors for helping us keep our students safe by following the procedures below.
Visitor Check-in and Check-out Procedures
- Entry Door #1
- Visitor control is monitored through an electronic door access system. Press the button next to the door of Entrance #1. An office staff member will answer and ask the nature of your visit/who you are here to see and guide you through our security system.
- Main Office Sign-In
- Proceed to the Main Office. Sign in to our automated visitor management system with a driver’s license, passport, or military ID. The system prints an ID badge that must be displayed on visitor clothing at all times. You will not be allowed beyond entry until you have completed an assisted process verifying your identity. Only authorized visitors will be allowed in the building.
- Check Out
- Before leaving the school, visitors must check-out in the Main Office and exit through Door #1.
Parking
Visitors must park in one of the 15 designated visitor spots (identified by a blue visitor's parking sign) located in front of the school (near entrance #2).
Please do not park in any spot not designated for visitors.
Please do not park in the bus loop, even if you are only there to check in or check out your student or drop something off in the building.
