Wan Zhang

Ms. Zhang's students usually call her Lao Shi (teacher) or Ms. Z. She is a proud Beijinger, who came to the United States to pursue a Master’s degree in Education. After graduating from George Mason University, Ms. Zhang worked in Virginia Beach City Public Schools for 12 years. She enjoys exploring the beauty of the Chinese language and Chinese culture with her students as she believes learning a language does not end in the classroom, it is a lifelong journey. An avid traveler, when not in the classroom you can find her backpacking around the world and immersing herself in different cultures.
