Kindergarten is a joyful first step into the world of school, where curiosity and imagination come alive each day. In our classrooms, children are welcomed into a caring community where they feel safe, supported, and excited to learn.

Learning in kindergarten is playful, hands-on, and full of discovery. Students explore the building blocks of reading and writing, develop number sense in math, and investigate the world around them through science and social studies. Songs, stories, movement, and creative projects help learning feel joyful and connected.

Just as important as academics, kindergarten is about building friendships and learning how to work together. Through sharing, taking turns, and problem-solving, children develop the social and emotional skills that help them thrive as part of a classroom family.

At Forestville, our kindergarteners are encouraged to be curious, kind, and confident as they begin their school journey. Together with families, we nurture a love of learning and create a foundation for success in the years ahead.
