On October 16th, Liberty Middle School students from AVID, Young Scholars, and Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) had an unforgettable experience visiting Commanders Stadium. This hands-on field trip gave students a behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional sports and the many careers that support it.

Students heard from the Senior Manager of Sales and the Director of Social Media Marketing, who shared insights into careers in the sports industry and the day-to-day operations of a professional team. They even had the chance to walk on the Commanders’ football field and visit the locker room where players prepare for game day.

The experience continued with a guided tour through the stadium, giving students a full perspective of the facilities, and they enjoyed a lunch served by the stadium staff. From learning about sports management to seeing the excitement of the field firsthand, students left inspired and with a deeper understanding of the many opportunities available in the sports industry.

Liberty is proud to offer experiences like this that connect students’ learning to real-world careers and help them envision their futures.
