Gemini Enterprise provides centralized oversight and management for
agents used by your organization, including those from Google, third parties,
and internal teams.
This page provides an overview of the different types of agents available in
Gemini Enterprise and indicates whether they are available by default on the
Gemini Enterprise web app or need to be configured by an administrator.
Types of agents and how to enable them
The following table details how to create new agents, use Google-developed
agents, and register custom agents from your organization. It also indicates if
administrator action is required to make each agent or feature visible on the
web app.

Create your own agents
Agent Designer
This interactive, no-code or low-code platform lets users create,
manage, and launch single and multi-step agents on the Gemini Enterprise
web app. For more information, seeAgent Designer overview.
A Gemini Enterprise admin must enable this feature on the web app by
turning on theEnable Agent Designertoggle in theEnd user features controlpage. For more information, seeManage web app features.
Use Google-made agents
Data Insights
Helps users analyze and understand their data, uncovering trends,
patterns, and key insights from various data sources. Gemini Enterprise
admins must configure this agent to make it available to users on the
Gemini Enterprise web app. For more information, seeGet insights with the Data Insights agent.
Gemini Enterprise admins can register custom agents built by your
organization and hosted on Vertex AI Agent Engine, making them
available to users on the Gemini Enterprise web app. For more information,

Agent-to-Agent (A2A)
Gemini Enterprise admins can register custom agents built using the
Agent-to-Agent (A2A) protocol, making them available to users on the
Gemini Enterprise web app. For more information, seeRegister and manage A2A agents.
Dialogflow
Gemini Enterprise admins can register conversational agents built with
Dialogflow, making them available to users on the
Gemini Enterprise web app. For more information, seeRegister and manage Dialogflow agents.
View agents
Follow these steps to view the agents that you have registered or added from
the Google Cloud console:
In the Google Cloud console, go to the Gemini Enterprise page.
A Gemini Enterprise admin can manage the lifecycle of agents added or registered
using theAgentspage in the Gemini Enterprise console and perform the
following tasks:
Delete an agent to remove it from both theAgentspage and the
Gemini Enterprise web app.
To delete the agent, do the following:
On theAgentspage, clickmore_vertnext to the agent you want to
delete.
ClickDelete.
Enable an agent
Enable the agent to make it visible in the Agent Gallery on the
Gemini Enterprise web app.
To enable your agent, do the following:
On theAgentspage, clickmore_vertnext to the agent you want to enable.
SelectEnable. A new window opens with the web app running. You can test the functionality.
Preview an agent
UsePreviewto test an agent's functionality by interacting
with it in the Gemini Enterprise web app. Admins can preview every
agent.
To preview the agent, do the following:
On theAgentspage, clickmore_vertnext to the agent you want to preview.
SelectPreview. A new window opens with the web app. You can test the functionality.
Disable an agent
Disable an agent to remove it from the Gemini Enterprise web app, making
it unavailable to users.
To disable your agent, do the following:
On theAgentspage, clickmore_vertnext to the agent you want to disable.
SelectDisable.
ClickConfirm.
Suspend an agent
Suspend the agent to make it temporarily unavailable to users in the
Gemini Enterprise web app. However,
suspended agents remain visible to administrators and the agent's creator.
To suspend your agent, do the following:
On theAgentspage, clickmore_vertnext to the agent you want to suspend.
SelectSuspend. A dialog window opens with a message.
Enter a reason for suspending the agent. This message is visible to users.
