Overview

The Microsoft Teams data store for Gemini Enterprise lets you access your Microsoft Teams data and interact with channels, chats, and schedules.

Supported Microsoft Teams versions

The Microsoft Teams data store supports Microsoft Teams version 2.1 and later.

Minimum permissions

To enable Gemini Enterprise to perform federated search using Microsoft Teams with read-only access, you need the following minimum graph permissions.

Allows the data store to read group properties and memberships, and read conversations for all groups.

Sites.Read.All

Allows the data store to read all files and documents shared within Teams channels across the organization.

ChatMessage.Read.All

Allows the app to read all one-to-one and group chats messages.

User.Read.All

Allows the data store to read user profiles.

Limitations

The Microsoft Teams data store is supported only in Global, US, and EU locations.
Enforcing a VPC Service Controls on existing Microsoft Teams data stores is not supported. To bring an existing data store under VPC Service Controls enforcement, you must delete and recreate the data store.
