After almost a month of snow and -25 degree weather, this week it is around +1. It's better when I'm working on a roof when it's this nice out, but it sure gets wet. My boots feel like they weight 20 pounds :p But I guess I can't complain, it's better than working in -40 like 2 weeks ago!
In other news, Alberta has a new Premier. King Ralph is finally gone. No longer will we hear about his crazy antics - yelling at homeless people to get a job, smoking in his office when an indoor smoking ban is in effect, or implying that Belinda Stronach 'gets around' (a personal favorite of mine).
Steady Eddie Ed Stelmach looks like a pretty boring guy. Can I rely on this guy to provide me with 'Ed Bucks' when the cash is flowing in? Not likely. How about a fun quote once in a while, without a worry about who he insults? Probably not.
This week Alberta just got a lot more boring :P
