アメリカで銃による無差別な大量殺戮など悲惨な事件が起こるたび、
「そんな危険なものをどうして、一般人が持つのか？」と
不思議でなりません。
「アメリカという国は個人の権利には干渉しない」ということも
理由の一つのようですが、
放送での銃保有擁護者たちの話は
ムチャクチャだと思います。
話し方もヒートアップ！

=when a lot of people are killed violently, especially people who cannot defend themselves:
go on a rampage [ 凶行に及ぶ
rampage [ 暴れまわること、暴力事件
=to rush about in groups, acting in a wild or violent way

これまで70個ほどの単語を書きました。
これは英文記事で読んで調べた単語を書きとめるノート。
私は日本語の意味を覚えないとなかなか定着しないタイプなんですが、
このノートに限って英語しか書かない。
英英辞典や記事からの引用のみを書いています。
で、英字記事を読むようになって気がつくのが銃犯罪の多さ。
これによりrampage raid などの単語を書き留めました。
