マッケンジー版スワンレイクについて。

登壇者：マッケンジー、ゴメス、ケント。

通訳さん：マッケンジーさんが日本で始めて踊ったのはスワンレイクなんですって？

マッケンジー：そうです。私が初めて日本に来て踊ったのは1980年牧阿佐美さんのバレエ団です。そのとき初めて日本を知りました。だから牧さんを尊敬しています。自分のヴァージョンのスワンレイクを作るときもすごく影響を受けています。

通訳さん：マッケンジー版について：

マッケンジー：2000年に自分のヴァージョンのスワンレイクを作りました。水曜に日本で初めてお見せしたいです。いろんなヴァージョンのスワンレイクを自分は踊っているので作品を作るときにも影響を受けました。
以前のヴァージョンは、完全版として初めてやったもので、私のキャリアでやってきたものに影響を受けている。

スワンレイクは典型的な古典悲劇という点でいろんな見方ができる。ジークフリートの観点から見ると、美しいスワンに出会って恋に落ちながらも彼女は自分の奥さんにはできないと悟っている。
王子は美しい白鳥に似た別の人と出会い、別の人だと気づいていながら彼女を選んでしまうのです。
王子は物語の最終的には、許すこと、痛みを感じることを示唆しているのです。
私のヴァージョンは2人のダンサーが踊っている。それぞれ表現
ロットバルトの二面性、とても悪魔的で野獣のような部分、もう一つはステキな殿方として登場する。
対極の二面性。
デザイナーもそう考えました。
映画のように一人で
プロローグで表現することにした。
二面性を提示することにした。

ヴィジュアル的にも楽しんでいただける。

通訳さん：ケントさんに伺います。

ケント：世界中いろんなところで踊っています。ボリショイでもABTヴァージョンをやっています。古典的作品なので実際の部分はそんなに変わらない。しかしマッケンジーさんの意図するところはとってもロマンティックで独自のものを付け加える余地がある。
愛と許し、愛が試されること、愛が壊れることが美しく表現されている。
ゴメンナサイ(日本語)

短い中で表現するのが我々の表現。
ロットバルトもブラックスワンも引き立つ。
孤独、得ることの出来ないものへの欲望も表現されることになった。
白鳥も悲劇の象徴として描かれることがなく、イノセントな状態(何も知らない状態)から話が進んでいくのがいい。

通訳さん：（ゴメスに）DVDでロットバルトを踊っていますが今回は王子を踊る。この2つの役はどちらがお好きですか？

ゴメス：(笑）　ロットバルトもジークフリートも魅力的なのでどっちが好きかとかは言えません。
ケヴィンのおかげでいろんなことがわかりますし、どちらの役も自分の一部として感じられます。どちらも高貴な人です。ロットバルトは先を読んでいますが、ジークフリートは現状しか見ていない。とても対照的です。

McKenzie: Yes, I very first visit to Japan, it was Maki Asami Company, with Japanese dancers, so I respect Asami Maki so much.

it's developed as experience on stage, as the match, so much power, and I can't say I like Rothbart or the Prince, both game exactly Sigfried is the fallen love and read both story.----
