池袋西武百貨店で開催されている、埼玉県秩父市を舞台にした2つのアニメ作品「あの日見た花の名前を僕達はまだ知らない。」と「心が叫びたがってるんだ。」の原画展を見てきた。
会場には両作品の原画、キャラクターの設定画はもちろんのこと、西武秩父駅前のギャラリー仲見世やアクアシティお台場にもあった実物大秘密基地や、来る9月21日に放送される予定のドラマ版「あの花」でキャストが着たコスチュームの展示や、両作品に描かれた秩父の風景の紹介、グッズ販売もあった。
めんまちゃんの初期設定での服装が、白基調でありながら最終決定された、アニメ本編で見られたワンピースとはまったく違うデザインであったことに驚いた。
最後のグッズ販売ではめんまちゃんのラバーストラップと絵はがき、クリアファイルを購入した。特に欲しかったものがラバーストラップで、2等身にディフォルメされためんまちゃんがものすごくかわいいデザインであったことから、ポスターを見た時に、買おうと決めていた。
On my way home, I went seeing the exhibition of original pictures and drafts of "Anohana ~the flower we saw that day~" and "The Anthem of the Heart - Beautiful Word Beautiful World -" being held at Seibu Department Store Ikebukuro.
Not only the pictures and drafts, a full-scale secret base from "Anohana", which resembled the one I have seen in Chichibu and Odaiba before, the clothes which the live-action version "Anohana" casts, and the introduction of locations and festivals pictured in the two animes wore were exhibited, and some goods were sold.
What I was most surprised at was Meiko "Menma" Honma's costume at the very first planning step completely differed from the finally-decided white one-piece.
At last I bought a file, a letter, and rubber charm. What I wanted to get best was was the rubber charm because of cuteness of deformed Menma-chan, so I planned to buy it when I saw a poster of the exhibition.
