I went travelling to Hokuriku Area by Hokuriku Shinkansen. It was the third time for me after Shinkansen extension to Kanazawa Station.
The train I chose was "Kagayaki 505". On that day, W7 Series Shinkansen W4 set was in service as the train. It was the first time for me to travel with W7 Series Shinkansen.
In a few minutes after departing from Tokyo Station, I heard the melody of "Hokuriku Roman" before the announcement. The song was composed by Shinji Tanimura to celebrate the Shinkansen extension in 2015 and sung by Yukie Nakama and him. Since October, 2015, it has rung as the sign melody before the announcement on Hokuriku Shinkansen.
While travelling, I could watch the mountains turned red in Chichibu in Saitama Prefecture, Gumma, and Nagano Prefectures over the window. However, before arriving at Toyama Station, it started to rain.
The train arrived at Kanazawa terminal on time.
The sign melody seemed to make the travel more enjoyable.
