September 7th is the day of the announcement of the mind-the-doors signs on Osaka Metro trains. Because of this, I imagine that the birthday of "Osaka Subway Girl" and "Osaka Subway Boy" is the same day.
I made the mini-size cut-out of the two and brought them to Osaka.
During the travel, I shot some pictures featuring the two to celebrate their birthday.
The first photograph is of a train and the two at the viewing booth at Shin-osaka Station. I guess that the two must love Osaka Metro trains.
This photograph shows their love for the trains and that the two always watch passengers not to injure their hands.
The second photograph is of the two with a piece of cake. The cake is a strawberry shortcake from "COCARDE", a confectioner in Osaka. Though I couldn't prepare for candles and colourful decorations, I used them to resemble a birthday cake.
The third photograph is of the two with fireworks. On the night of August 27th, Naniwa Yodogawa Fireworks Festival was held in Osaka. Because of the COVID-19 infection, the festivals in 2020 and 2021 were cancelled.
On that day, the closest stations, Nakatsu and Nishinakajima-minamigata on Midosuji Line, were crowded.
Fireworks are the motif of 22 Series passenger doors on Tanimachi Line. I also photographed the mind-the-doors sign with a fireworks pattern.
