Here’s something that genuinely surprised me when I dug into the data.

People are massively shorting this Bitcoin rally.

The 1-day funding levels are close to what we saw at the $60K bottom. If it weren’t for one technical factor, this would be the biggest negative funding day since March 2023 — nearly three years.
1日の資金調達率は、6万ドルの底で見られた水準に近い。もしある技術的な要因がなければ、これは2023年3月以来、ほぼ3年ぶりの最大級の資金調達額の減少の日になっていたはずだ。

What does that mean? It means the market is heavily positioned against Bitcoin going up. And when the crowd is wrong — which happens — the short squeeze can be violent and fast.

Let me share something that fits my bias almost perfectly — and I’ll be upfront that I recognize that, but the data is still worth examining.

According to Bitcoin vs gold cycle analysis, BTC/Gold has always bottomed exactly 14 months after its peak — in 2014, 2018, and 2022. Each time, that bottom was followed by two to three years of sustained upside.

The Korean stock market dropped 20% in two days — hitting circuit breakers both days — before bouncing 13% in a single session. That’s crypto-level volatility in a national equity index. That’s unprecedented.

The VIX (volatility index) spiked hard. But here’s an interesting pattern: every time the VIX has hit the 28–29 range over the past few years, it’s been followed by a significant reversal back down. We’re watching for that same correction now.

My Personal Takeaway: Stay Calm, Stay Positioned

Here’s the mindset I keep coming back to.

After you realize the market has endless opportunities, FOMO loses its grip on you. There’s always another trade. There’s always another entry point.

The worst thing you can do in moments like this is panic-sell a position you’ve thought through carefully — or chase a pump out of fear of missing out.

The global situation is tense. Markets are edgy. Bitcoin holders are nervous. But nervousness and opportunity often live at the exact same address.
世界情勢は緊迫している。市場は神経質だ。ビットコイン保有者は不安だ。だが、不安とチャンスはしばしば同じ場所に存在する。

The data, the history, and the institutional momentum all point to one direction over the next 12–24 months. I’m not abandoning that thesis because of a few weeks of turbulence.
データ、歴史、そして機関投資家の勢い―これらはすべて、今後12〜24か月で同じ方向を示している。数週間の乱気流でその仮説を捨てるつもりはない。

Stay steady. Stay informed. And make sure every trade has a plan before you enter it.
