１、『ラヴァーズ・コンチェルト』トイズ（１９６５）
いわゆるバッハのメヌエットをポップス化して初めてヒットしたのがトイズの『ラヴァーズ・コンチェルト』です。（’６５年；全米２位）
トイズは３人組のガールグループで、シュープリームスなどと同様な明るいポップ路線のサウンドを持っていました。
この曲のバックアレンジもシンプルで楽しいイメージをアピールしていました。
２、『ラヴァーズ・コンチェルト』サラ・ヴォーン（１９６６）（１９６８）
大物ジャズ・シンガー、サラ・ヴォーンが、その翌年この曲をカバーしました。
日本では若干年月のズレがありますが、’６８～’６９年にかけてこのサラ・ヴォーンのバージョンがヒットしました。
イントロのヴァイオリン演奏も印象的で、全体を通してシンプルながらストリングスも上手く使った良いアレンジだと思います。
それに、サラ・ヴォーンの歌唱力、表現力が素晴らしく、トイズなどとはまるで違います。
