１．「子供は子供」という。お子さんにそんなに厳しくあたるのは避けたほうがいいと思いますよ。
(A) They say, "Boys will be boys." I think you had better avoid being so strict with your child.
(B) The proverb says, "Boys will be boys." You'd better refrain from being that severe with your son, I guess.
ポイント
(A)(B) will：現在の習慣・習性、特性・必然を表す
When you are on the point of success, something will go wrong. 「うまくいくかと思うと何か支障が出てくるものだ」
Oil will float on water. 「油は水に浮くものだ」
Accidents will happen. 《ことわざ》「事故は起こるものだ（なかなか防げない）」
had better を使うと行為のよしあしについての話し手の判断が強く表れる。"It would be better for you to..."を使う方が無難。ただし親しい間柄では軽い気持ちでよく使う。
相手に助言するときの丁寧な言い方：
I suggest (that) you do it. 「した方がいいですよ」
be strict with... 「...に厳しくあたる」
strict が伴うその他の前置詞：
He was very strict about manners. 「彼は作法に関してとても厳しかった」
be strict in one's morals 「品行方正である」
He is rather strict toward his dog. 「飼い犬に対してかなり厳しい」
２．この部屋は300人収容できます。明日までにご利用になるかどうかお電話下さい。
(A) This room will hold three hundred people. Please let me know by telephone by tomorrow if you'll use it.
(B) This room can accomodate 300 persons. Please call us up by tomorrow to say whether you'll use it or not.
ポイント
will：[適正・能力を表す]「～できる」
His car will hold six people. 「彼の車には6人が乗れる」
hold 「（容器などが）<ある量>を入れることができる；（建物などが）<ある人数>を収容する；（中に）含んでいる」
This bottle holds two liters. 「このびんは２リットル入る」
The future holds many surprises. 「未来には多くの驚異がある」
accomodate 「収容できる；宿泊させる；適応させる；用立てる」
He soon accomodated himself to the new regime. 「彼は新しい体制にすぐ順応した」
Could you accomodate me with some money? 「いくらかお金を用立ててもらえませんか」
accomodate onself to one's circumstances 「境遇に順応する」
accomodate oneself to other's wishes 「相手に希望に添うようにする」
３．（７．３の続き）とくに若者たちは、本当に感じているのはのぼせ上がりであるのに、誰かに恋をしているのだ、と想像しやすい。のぼせ上がりは完全にわがままなものであって、真の幸せに結びつくことは決してない。それは私たちに一時的な喜びと満足を与えてくれるかもしれないが、「のぼせ上がりは奪い、真の愛は与える」ということを忘れてはならない。
It is easy, especially for the young, to imagine that they feel love for someone, while what they really feel is infatuation. Infatuation is entirely selfish and never leads to real happiness. It may give us temporary delight and satisfaction; but we have to remember that "infatuation takes, and true love gives."

may がくると but が呼応することが多い。

「恐らくあなたの言うのが正しかったかもしれないが、私はそれを私のやり方でやってみたかったのです」
remember 「思い出す；記憶する；心に留める、忘れない」
I will remember this day always. 「今日という日をいつまでも忘れません」
I fondly remember your father's kindness to me on that occasion.
「あのときのお父上の私に対する親切を懐かしく覚えています」
Will you kindly remember me to her? 「どうぞ彼女によろしくお伝え下さい」
Please remember me kindly to Mr. Smith the next time when you meet him.
「スミス氏にお会いする折は、どうぞよろしくお伝え下さい」
