2017年５月３日、アマサギの写真を撮りました。頭、くちばし、首、胸などは、名前の由来になる飴色（あめいろ）です。水田の青や草の緑に映えて、とても美しいです。アマサギは水田の生き物を探していました。

I took some images of Cattle egret on May 3rd, 2017. Cattle egret has Japanese color
"Ameiro" or light brown, caramel color on their head, beak, neck, chest. The birds Japanese name "Amasagi" , meaning of Light brown color egret derives from the Japanese Ameiro color.
It is very beautiful, stands out against blue color of rice field, green color of grass. It
searches about preys in a rice field.
English name, Cattle egret, was named from their behavior that they follow cattle that
till the soil. Cattle egret can easily find out the prey to eat.
