年をとると周りの変化に着いて行けなくなるものなのでしょうか。

大将が出張だったので母の家に行って一緒にご飯を食べました。

『最近いいなあと思う歌が全然ない。』

母がぼやきます。

ない訳じゃなくて、知らないだけじゃないかなあ。

10代や20代の頃は音楽がご飯代わりくらいにどんどん新しい曲を吸収して、音楽なしでは生きて行けなかった自分でしたがそれも今は昔。

インプットはダンス音楽か通勤途中に聞くラジオのみになってしまいました。

でもたまに心の琴線に触れる曲に接する機会があって、ブログでピックアップしています。

今日ご紹介するのはイギリスのバンド・キーンの2004年のヒット曲。

変化と言えばトランプの王様、先週就任したばかりなのに矢継ぎ早に大統領令を発令していますね。

議会の承認を得ないと実現はしないようですので、良識ある議会の人々の決断を期待したいところです。

どうもあの方の映像を見ていると手の振りとかしゃべり方とか『バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー』のビフや『セント・オブ・ア・ウーマン』のジョージが頭に浮かぶんですよ。両方とも悪役ですけどね。
