追悼 植木 等さん I'd like to you appreciate great comedian, Ueki-san.
また一人偉大な方が天国へと旅立たれました。吾輩が生まれて一番初めに憶えた芸能人が植木等さんです。本来は生真面目な方だったのですが、聴衆を喜ばせようとして敢えてコメディアンになりきったその姿勢は、まだ現在ほど経済的に豊かでなかった頃の日本にどれだけの癒しや励ましを与えたか計り知れません。吾輩もそんな植木さんの姿勢の影響が強く残っているようです。どうか安らかにおやすみください。I must say condolence for big comedian, Hitoshi Ueki-san.He was first TV star I was so impressed to be in mind.He was so serous person but he acted as good comedian to entertain audience.That made people so encouraged or healed when Japan was not as rich as today.I was also influenced with his attitude too much.I would like to say to him “ Thank you so much !”

来春より４０歳以上の健診が義務化に！？ We'll almost take medical check after 40 years old.
来年４月より４０歳から７４歳までの、国保、健康保険組合、政管健保の加入者に健康診断が義務付けられることになりました。 これは当然早期から生活習慣病の予防や管理を徹底することにより、薬剤費を含めた医療費の抑制を狙ったものでしょう。 ただそのあらたな健診項目に「胴囲」があるのが、気がかりな方が多いのではないかと思います。（汗） From April 2008 people who are 40 to 74 years old covered under national health insurance or other similar ones will have to take medical checks.T his will be enforced to decrease medical cost such as medicine by preventing and controlling chronic diseases. Most colleagues would be anxious about new checking list, torso measurement. (Oh my God!)

気がつけばプロ野球開幕 When professional baseball game pennant race has start?
気がつけばいつのまにか始まっていた。そんな感じです。パリーグのペナントレースです。１０年くらい前でしたら医師との雑談で盛り上がった話題です。しかし最近はあまりプロ野球の話題は出ないですね。これはスター不在とか数々の不祥事によるものと言われるかも知れませんが、日本国民のスポーツへの意識が変わったのではないかと思います。Oh, when did it start ?I didn’t notice.Pacific baseball game pennant race has just start.About decade ago we often enjoy conversation with medical doctors about opening professional baseball game season. But recently we don’t so many.Although most commentators say it’s due to lacking in star player or owners scandals, I think it’s because of changing preference in Japanese people.

リスクマネージメント Risk management.
先日メディエンスさん主催のＭＢＡ交流会があり、今回のテーマは「リスクマネジメント」でした。講師のＨさんのお話がとても軽快で、またわかりやすい内容でたいへん参考になりました。一つだけ大きく実感したことがあります。それは日本の社会や企業ではまだまだ「リスクマネジメント」が浸透していないのではと言うこと。江戸時代のような長い平和な時代があったこと、また元寇などを除いて異民族の侵攻がほとんどなかったことがその理由かもしれません。「何とかなるだろう」と言う風潮が「前向き志向」と解釈されたり、不祥事の際や失敗したときの責任もあいまいにしようとする、いや誰かの責任にしてしまうという風土がまだまだあるのではないでしょうか。Last night MBA session hosted by Medience was held in Tokyo,.Agenda was “Risk Management.Presenter H-san has given us alive and good lecture which was so understandable and profitable for us.There was one notion I realized.This is Japanese society and many Japanese companies may not well establish this concept “Risk Management” in comparison with Western ones. Maybe this is due to that there were long peaceful period such as Edo era, or Japan has not been invaded by foreign races except for Fubirai Khan.I think we often notice culture like considering “que sera sera” thinking as positive one, and avoid accountabilities, or worse case, burden it on someone else when scandal is revealed.

タミフル報道への憂い What shoud do medias on the issue about Tamiflu?
タミフルに関する報道が増えているこのごろですが、マスコミが迷走状態に思えるのは吾輩だけでしょうか？もちろんお子様を無くされたご両親の気持ちは痛いほどわかるつもりです。また厚生労働省のあいまいな対応もかなり問題でしょう。ただインフルエンザは甘く見てはいけない疾患です。そのインフルエンザをどうとらえ、その中でのタミフルの意義や存在価値を考える、そうでないと問題が根本から解決しないのではないかと思います。なぜかマスコミは煽ることばかりしていますが、もう少し疾患について本質から考えてみるそんな議題を提供する役割も持つべきではないでしょうか？We saw a lot of article on Tamiflu,I wonder most medias are going wrong way.Needles to say, we could feel sympathy for how parents are miss their passed away children.And we must notice vague reaction by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.Indeed we must not ignore how serious Influenza is.It might be essential to consider how cope with Influenza.It might be essential to consider how we position Tamiflu on the care and cure.Nevertheless the issue would be still settled.Medias seems only to agitate people with no purpose.I think they should also raise the subject on what we should do to reduce or cure diseases fundamentally.

続・どうする、患者さんが多い日は？ Again. When clinics are congested with patients
先日のブログにてクリニックが混んでいるときは、医師への面会は避けた方が良いと述べました。もちろんこれは緊急性や重要な用件のある場合、また先方より訪問の依頼を受けた場合は別です。受付の方にその旨をお伝えして面会のお願いをすると良いでしょう。このような特別な用件の無い場合は、面会をお願いしても先生の診療等の邪魔になるだけなので、日を改めてうかがう事にした方が良いでしょう。要は、「訪問」や「面会」そのものにこだわらず、顧客である医師はじめクリニックのスタッフの方々にお役に立てるか、の視点で行動すると言うことです。On the last my blog, I said we should not meet medical doctors in case clinics are congested.Indeed if we have urgent or important matter, we must meet them. You should tell front desk clerks why we would like to them.On the other hand if we not, we should reschedule visiting date in order not to interfere them. What I want to say is we should act in view of how we contribute to users such as medical doctors and stuff at clinics without sticking to visiting or meeting itself.

今は例年でさえ多い花粉症患者さんに加え季節遅れのインフルエンザ患者さんが急増していますそして今週は水曜日が祝日。というわけでしょうか、本日はどこのクリニックさんも混雑していました。こんな日は無理に医師に面会しない方が良いと思います。「どうしても面会しなければ」という既成概念も見直しが必要でしょうね。In addition to a lot of patient suffered from hay fever as usual,Many influenza patients go to see doctors.And Wednesday is national holiday.So most clinics were congested today.We might avoid meeting doctors not to interfere in such cases.I think we should reconsider the stereotype ” We must meet doctors”

「挫折の無い人生なんて、退屈極まりないのでは？」 これも伝説のレーサー、アイルトン・セナ氏の言葉で、吾輩の好きな言葉です。続けてこう述べられています（国際ジャーナリストの落合信彦氏によるインタビューより）「人生も真剣に生きている者なら誰もが挫折を味わう。ただその挫折に真剣に向き合うことはとても大切なことだと思う。自分自身悩みぬくのもよいし、神との対話によっても切り抜けていくことが出来る。そうして人間は神のイメージに近づいていくことが出来る。そうすれば人生に退屈を感じている暇なの無いのでは？」Too boring! Life without frustrations?This phrase is also my favorite one said by A .Senna, legendary racer.He said as follows ( Interview by international journalist Nobuhiko Ochiai)“ Everybody who try to do best encounters frustrations. I think it important not to avoid and get over difficulties. We might consider how we should do or we might ask God. Then we can develop our image accessing to the Devine. And then we have no time to worry about tediousness of life.”

若手ＭＳ勉強会にて At the lecture for young MS.
本日、新人ＭＳさんに製品説明会を行う機会がありました。吾輩はその製品の適応疾患に関する基礎知識、またその薬効の適切な使用法などを紹介しました。ところが傍聴していた支店長からは「他の薬剤よりも、この辺が優れている」と差別化できるような話法などを紹介して欲しいといわれました。もちろんこの要望はもっともだと思います。ただ若手ＭＳさんがユーザーと確固たる信頼関係を構築するには、会話できるだけの基礎知識を習得することのほうがまず第一だと思うのですが、いかがでしょうか。I made a lecture about medicine for freshmen medical specialists this evening.I told about basic information of disease applied by this medicine and appropriate usage of these kinds of medicines.But branch chief required me introduce speeches such as differentiation like “This is better than that because of~~”I understand his requirement.Indeed I think it’ s prior to master basic knowledge to the extent that they can talk with users in order to establish good relationship for young MS, don’t I?

医師も十人十色 Each medical doctor has each character.
医師といいましても、いろいろなタイプの先生方がおられます。学究肌な方、親分肌な方、人当たりのソフトな方、陽気な方などなど。でももしどの先生方も同じような性格の方でしたら、退屈なだけでなく、不気味な感じがしますよね。There are a lot of characters about medical doctors.Academic,bossy,gentle,cheerful and so on.If most doctors have similar characters, it would be boring, to be worse,so strange.
