いよいよ暑さ本番、夏バテ予防が大切なこれからでもあります。吾輩は夜寝るときにはエアコンを絶対つけません。これが夏バテ予防に効果的ではないかと信じています。やっぱり人間の体は自然と同調するようにできているのでしょう。Hot season has come, and we’d like to avoid summer fatigue.I always put off air conditioner when I sleep at night.It must be effective to avoid summer fatigue.Human body may go along with nature rhythm.

TOEIC 820点獲得！ TOEIC 800 score !
昨月に行われた第１３０回ＴＯＥＩＣテストにて、８２０点を獲得しました。 もちろん威張れることではありません。外資系企業などで業務上英語が必須なスタッフの方々の場合、９００点台がゴロゴロいるのですから。 ただ普段ＭＲとして活動していても、８００点を超えることができたことを言いたいのです。 ファーマ・マーケテイング・コンサルタントで有名な井上良一先生も、これからのＭＲへの助言の一つとして「英語を学び、情報収集と情報提供はグローバルレベルで」とおっしゃっておられます。820 score, I got at 130th TOEIC test held in last month.Of course I would not be proud of it, I’d rather say. ムーア監督、今度は医薬品産業 Next Moore's movie about pharamaceutical industry
「華氏９１１」で有名なマイケル・ムーア監督の次回作は、なんと医薬品業界がテーマだそうです。内容も気になるのですが、どれだけ社会にインパクトを与えるのかも気になります。「華氏９１１」であれだけブッシュ大統領を風刺しておきながら、当局から何もとがめもなくブッシュ大統領は再選してしまいました。しかし逆にそれには裏に何かすごい背景がありそうな気がしていますが・・Michael Moore, who is famous for director of “Fahrenheit 911” and so on, is said to plan next movie which is about pharmaceutical industry.I’m concerned about not only story but also how much it will draw attentions.In “Fahrenheit 911” he criticized the president Bush severely, but he was not accused by government and Bush was elected again.I think there seems to be unforeseeable background behind this story.

深呼吸の効果 The efficacy of "Deep Breathing"
ケンシロウさんのブログにて、大勢の前で話す際の緊張を和らげる際の、「深呼吸」の効果を紹介させていただきました。もともと良識がある方なので余計なおせっかいかなとも思ったのですが、効果があったと聞き吾輩もうれしく思いました。 「深呼吸」というものは、緊張をほぐすだけでなく、他にもいろいろな場面で心身ともに良好な状態にすることを可能にしてくれるようです。 また「深呼吸」は、瞑想やヒーリングの中でも効果的な手法としても取り入れられています。 吾輩自身はその科学的根拠はよくわからないのですが、以下のような理由ではないかと思っています。ひとつは深呼吸することは体内の細胞に、より多くの酸素をしかも確実に供給させることになります。それにより細胞の働きが活発になり、からだ全体の調子が良くなるということではないでしょうか。またゆっくりした呼吸をおこなうことで、自律神経にも良い影響をあたえて、それが緊張というものを抑えていくのではないかと思います。 In Kenshiro-san blog, I introduced “Deep Breathing” is so effective to reduce stress before presentation in front of a lot of audience. Other is that slow breathing may affect autonomic nerve system to reduce stress.

NOVA一部業務停止報道に際して NOVA Scandal in my opinion
英会話学校最大手ＮＯＶＡ（大阪市）が虚偽内容の勧誘を行ったとして、経済産業省は１３日、特定商取引法違反（不実告知など）で、新規契約の受け付けについて６カ月間の業務停止命令を出す方針を決めました。 実は吾輩は契約期限満期の今年５月まで同校に通っていました。授業そのものはとても充実かつ楽しいものでした。そして外国人講師もプロ意識を持ち、また人間性にあふれた方々ばかりです。彼らの考え方や姿勢などからは、英語以外に学ぶところも多かったのも事実です。 今回の不祥事がそんな外国人講師の方々の誠実さに、水を差してしまわないことを祈っています。 Nova Corp., the nation's largest English-language school chain, was ordered by the government Wednesday to partially suspend business for six months for lying to customers about its services. I have been a student of NOVA until last May. I’m sure lesson itself is excellent and enjoyable. And foreign instructors are abundant in professionalism and humanities. I’ve learned a lot from their views and attitudes other than English. I hope this scandal won’t dishonor instructors’ sincerities.

ＮＨＫラジオ講座「ビジネス英会話」 NHK radio English conversation study program
ＮＨＫラジオの英語講座、「ビジネス英会話」の今月前半のテーマは「医師と患者の関係」」です。単なる英語学習だけでなく、いろいろ興味深い問題点が述べられています。 ちなみに、この「ビジネス英会話」で取り上げられるテーマは、数年後日本で起こったということを何回も経験しています。 “Doctor-Patient-relations” is the theme of former part in this month issue “Business Eikaiwa”, NHK radio English conversation study program. We can not only learn English but also find a lot of interesting points. Incidentally I’ve often seen incidents treated by this program came true in Japan within a couple of years.

ＭＢＡ交流会 「変わりゆく医薬品市場とマーケティング」 MBA workshop "Changing medical market and marketing"
９日はＭＲ－ＮＥＴさん主催のＭＢＡ交流会に参加させていただきました。今回のご講演のテーマは「変わりゆく医薬品市場とマーケティング」でした。講師の井上良一先生のお話はとても参考になり、また歯切れのよいご意見を述べられ、とても有益な内容でした。医薬品企業が抱えている問題点については、我々現場第一線の考えていることとそれほど変わらなかったのが意外でした。特に印象に残ったのが「これからはＭＲも英語を習得するべきだ」というお言葉です。数年前、当時の幹部や所長に「英語なんかせんでええ！かっこつけやがって」と言われたことがあるのですが、彼らに聞かせてやりたいですね。２次会も楽しめました。参加されるメンバーの皆さまは素晴らしい方ばかりだと思います。今回は病気のため残念ながら来られなかった池上さん、ポロコさんたち主催者 および当会にて挨拶また歓談させていただきました方々にあつく御礼申し上げます。On June 9, I attended MBA workshop hosted by MR-NET.“Changing medical market and marketing” was the theme of the lecture talked by Mr.Inoue.His presentation was so worthwhile because of its informativeness and frankness.It was beyond my expectation that his opinion about issue medical companies should cope with is almost in accordance with what we MR consider.What was most impressively in my mind was his word” You MR should learn English” Several years ago I was said by boss and seniors ‘You don’t have to use English! Why do you pretend as if you are excellent?” I’d like them to listen to his word.I enjoyed the party after lecture. I think the member who participate in this MBA workshop are nice persons.I must appreciate Ikegami CEO , who unfortunately couldn’t come due to sudden fever, Poroko san and attendants I greeted and had conversation with.

最近の厚労省の頼りなさ Unreliableness of Ministry of Health.Labor and Walfare
最近の厚生労働省の頼りなさが目立っています。管轄下の社会保険庁の杜撰さがますます明るみになるだけでなく、コムスンの業務取り消しの件でも、お粗末な面をさらけ出しました。おそらく厚生労働省としては、社会保険庁への世間の関心をそらそうとして、コムスンへの指導を発表したつもりだったのですが、逆に「ナメられて」しまう結果になりました。そんな連中に我々の健康を任せて大丈夫かと思うのは吾輩だけではないでしょう。We might agree Ministry of Health.Labor and Walfare is unreliable these days.Not only looseness of Social Insurance Agency administrated by MHLW seems to be increasing, but also it made a miss in regard of Comsn affair. I think MHLW announced an instruction to Comsn in order to change people’s interest toward SIA. But it proved to be mocked by Comsn.Maybe most doubt if we should rely on MHLW to keep our healthy lives.

疲労対策 To be in good condition.
一挙に多くの仕事をこなさなければならなくなりました。疲労対策ですが、市販の滋養強壮薬の錠剤を通常量の２倍飲むと効果的なようです。昔ＯＴＣ部門の人に教えてくれました。This week I have a lot of work to do in a short time.So I must keep in good condition. It might be effective take double as usual dosage of nutritional supplement tablets.Some years ago colleague at OTC department gave me this advice.

説明会の難しさ Struggle to make a good presentation.
先程まで明日の製品説明会の準備に追われていました。 毎回説明会を行うたびに、満足いただけるようにするのは難しいなと実感しています。 聞いていただける方の専門性などにより、与えられた時間により、またこちらが何を伝えたいかにより、そして本番の雰囲気により、どのようなプレゼンテーションを行なうかが異なってくるからです。 吾輩はいつも直前まで試行錯誤しています。 が、その努力あってかユーザーからは好評の言葉をいただくことが多いようです。 しかし上司からは「余計な事をするな」と怒られたこともありますが・・・In this evening I arranged materials for presentation I‘ll give tomorrow.I always think it difficult to make a good presentation listeners be content with.It depends on specialties of listeners, given time I can do, what we should introduce and appeal, and atmosphere at that time and so on.I struggle to make excellent presentations until its start every time.That might often bring appreciations from users.But some bosses claimed me not to do anything they don’t want to do.

社会保険庁での出来事 At the office of Social Insurance Agency.
社会保険庁の杜撰さが問題になっていますが、数年前にＹ市の当庁の事務所を訪れる機会がありました。ドアを開けたとたん、いきなりダラけた雰囲気に圧倒されてしまいました。同じ役所でも、よっぽど市役所などの方が快活でしたね。もっと驚いたのが、訪問した時が夕方だったのですが、午後５時の終業ベルが鳴ったとたん、皆即座に帰る準備に取り掛かり、５分もする間に５０人くらいいたスタッフの皆様が、ほとんどいなくなっていたということです。（？？）There are a lot of article about looseness of Social Insurance Agency in newspapers and other media. Several years ago I’ve visited SIA office in Y city.As soon as I opened the door I was overwhelmed by dull atmosphere. City hall may be more active as public organization.To my more surprise, no later than bell rung to inform closing time, about 50 stuff just began to get ready to go home, in 5minute most have left and office almost became vacant. Oh~~.
