西武4000系の旅情をさそうミニテーブル付きのボックスシートがまたよい雰囲気を創り出しているように、撮影した僕自身には見える。
ボックスシート主体の車両が全国的に少なくなっている中、今年2015（平成27）年、475系が引退し、JRから国鉄急行型車両が全滅してしまったことから、西武4000系や東武6050系といった追加料金なしで乗れるボックスシート主体の車両がより一層希少な存在になることは言うまでもない。このような写真はボックスシートでないと撮りづらいため、ボックスシート主体の車両が少しでも長生きしてほしいと願う。
I bought special tickets to celebrate the operation of Class C58 steam locomotive with "Anohana ~the flower we saw that day~" front sign, which consists of six tickets , and shot a picture of its mounting paper on a small table between transverse seatings of Seibu 4000 Series, which apqeared on "Anohana" anime.
Each of six characters is printed on those and Meiko, in the same pose as the sign, is pictured on the mount, which attracts me.
I see that the transverse seatings with a table creates the good mood of train travelling.
these kind of railway carriage, whose interior mainly consists of nonreclining transverse seatings like Seibu 4000 Series or Tobu 6050 Series, must be rarer in Japan because JR West 475 Series completely retired on March, 2015. It is hard to take the photograph like this if not at a transverse seating and I wish these carriages could keep running as possible.
