The whirlwind month had initially gone according to plan, sending Bitcoin to a new all-time high at $126,000 before Trump’s October 10 post on Truth Social sent the market nosediving.目まぐるしい1か月は当初の計画通りに進み、ビットコインは12万6千ドルという過去最高値を記録したが、10月10日のトランプ氏のTruth Social投稿によって市場は急落した。

It was the worst October for the BTC/USD price since 2018, ending up 3.69% in the red.
BTC/USD価格にとっては2018年以来最悪の10月となり、最終的に3.69％の下落で終わった。

Yesterday, it briefly dipped below $100,000 , the first time since June.
昨日、ビットコインは一時的に10万ドルを下回った。これは6月以来初めてのことだ。

In addition to hundreds of billions of dollars being removed from this market last month, we’ve witnessed another large sell-off.先月、数千億ドル規模の資金が市場から流出したのに加え、再び大規模な売りが発生した。

Yesterday, we saw $90 billion erased, including over $2 billion in crypto liquidations over the past 24 hours.昨日だけで900億ドルが消失し、その中には過去24時間で20億ドル超の仮想通貨の清算も含まれていた。

So, why on Earth did Bitcoin fall even with the expected 25 basis-point cut at last week’s Federal Open Market Committee (FOMC) meeting?では一体なぜ、先週のFOMCで予想通り0.25％の利下げがあったにもかかわらず、ビットコインは下落したのか。

While the Polymarket odds still favour a 25 bps decrease in December, which would make it three consecutive rate cuts from the Fed, this has dropped sharply since the October 27–28 meeting, following Fed Chair Jerome Powell’s comments, particularly this one:
Polymarketの予想では、12月にも0.25％の利下げが行われる可能性が高いとされており、これが3回連続の利下げとなる見込みだったが、10月27〜28日の会合以降、パウエル議長の発言を受けてその確率は急落した。特に次の発言が影響した：

“A further reduction in the policy rate at the December meeting is not a foregone conclusion.”
