「カエルの楽園２０２０」を読んで

この小説は、日本の放送作家、小説家として知られている百田尚樹（1956年（昭和31年）2月23日生）さんが、「小説家になろう」というアマチュア小説家の投稿サイトに公開したものだ。コロナ禍を寓話にして､私たちの未来に警鐘を鳴らすことを意図した物語である｡小説家とは何か。それはベストセラー作家になって印税を手にして生きることではない。A novel was posted by a Japanese novelist Naoki Hyakuta on an amateur novelist's posting site, "Let's become a novelist." 雀始巣（すずめはじめてすくう）

ヒートアイランドのためか一足先に都心から桜が咲き、いなかの野原や畑一面が緑の草花で覆われている。お散歩をしながら摘んだ春菜を、はやり病に備えてストックしている食材と組み合わせて料理し、息吹に満ちた春の命をありがたく頂いた。土筆（つくし）と蓬（よもぎ）と菜の花が入った春菜のほろ苦さ（ビタミン・ミネラル）が体に浸透して、免疫力を高めてくれるだろう。Cherry blossoms are blooming from the city center a little earlier, probably because of the heat island phenomenon, and the whole countryside and the farm fields were covered with green flowers and leaves. Various "Haruna"s I picked up while taking a walk were cooked in combination with the stocked ingredients in preparation for Coronavirus shock, and I was grateful for the life which was filled with the spring breath. 菜虫化蝶（なむしちょうとなる）

厳しい冬を越したさなぎが羽化し、華麗な変身を遂げて蝶へと生まれ変わり、軽やかに舞い飛ぶ頃となった。2020/03/14午後、東京・靖国神社にある桜の標本木で、桜が開花した。It's time when the pupa, which passed the harsh winter, emerges. The pupa undergoes a splendid transformation and is reborn as a butterfly. The butterfly fly lightly. 表現の自由空間を護ろう

ネットにおける個人の活動は原則として自由であるべきである。著作権法などの強行法規による自由の制約は本来、必要最低限度に止められるべきものである。最も尊重されるべきは、憲法や民法の根底に流れる基本原則であり、国を問わず認められる基本権である。著作権法改正は基本権が保障する表現の自由を侵しており違憲である。Individual activities on the net should be free in principle. Restrictions on freedom by the copyright law should be kept to a necessary minimum. The legal philosophies to which serious consideration and attention should be paid are the fundamental rights that underlie the constitution and civil law, and the fundamental rights that are recognized in any country. Chernobyl Heart、Fukushima 50のメッセージ

私たち日本人は、犯した過ちを反省もせず、責任もとらず、技術的に汚染を少なくする選択枝があるにも関わらず、汚染水を世界に垂れ流がそうとする政府を放置してよいのか。これは日本が技術立国として存立する礎を放棄する意思表示であり、日本人として恥ずべき行為である。We, the Japanese, have not reflected on the mistakes made, have not taken responsibilities for, and have left the government to make contaminated water spill over the world, despite options to reduce pollution technically. Can we do that? 地中で冬ごもりしていた虫たちが、暖かい春の気配を感じて姿を現し始める頃となった。虫とはいうが、冬眠から目覚め始めるすべての生き物のことを表している。It’s time when insects, which have been wintering underground, feel the warm spring signs and begin to appear. 命をいただく

大落古利根の河原橋すぐ下河畔に、菜の花（アブラナ）が優雅に揺れていた。存分に鑑賞したのち、早速お昼ごはんとしてありがたく頂いた。お味噌汁、ぬか漬け、納豆という健康メニューを堪能した。Rape blossoms were gracefully swaying beneath the riverbank just below Kawara Bridge in Ohotoshi Furu Tone. After appreciating as much as possible, I was thankful to and had them for lunch. 草木萌動（そうもくめばえいずる）

草木が萌え出す頃となった。万葉の時代から早春の歌として詠まれ、古くから大切にされてきた風習が春菜摘みである。桃の節句（ひな祭り）が迫り、ひな祭り用の桃の花や、鮮やかな黄色い菜の花などが山野にあふれる。It’s time for the plants to sprout. 休校の子供たちに見て欲しい映画

「この世界の片隅に」は原爆投下に至る広島を舞台に市井の人びとの日常を描いたアニメ映画である。日本人のリアルと重なるすずの生き方と共に、戦争の愚かさ悲しさ、そしてまた一から立ち直って前向きに生きていこうとする姿勢の大切さを、このアニメ映画を通して是非とも日本の子供たちに観て欲しいと思う。The film "KONO SEKAI-no KATASUMINI" is an animated film having depicted the everyday lives of the ordinary people on the stage of Hiroshima, where the atomic bomb was dropped. 春霞がたなびき始める頃となった。春になると、冬の乾いた空気に比べて大気中に細かな水滴や塵が増え、遠くの景色がぼんやりとかすんで見えることがあるが、こうした現象を「霞」と呼ぶ。柔らかくほのかにかすんで見える山々は、のどかで春らしい風景である。It’s time when the spring haze begins to flutter. あたたかな雨に大地が潤い活気づく頃となった。降っていた雪がしっとりとした春の雨に変わり、凍てついた大地もゆっくりと潤い始める。忍び寄る春の気配に眠っていた植物が芽吹き始める季節である。It’s time when the earth is moistened and warmed by the warm rain. The falling snow turns into moist spring rain, and the frozen land slowly begins to moisten. 魚たちが暖かさを感じ、割れた氷の下から魚が跳びはねる頃となった。寒い冬、魚たちは池や湖、海などの深場でじっとうずくまり、代謝を下げて春を待っている。やがて吹く風が柔らかくなり、温かくなった水の中には、ゆらゆら泳ぐ魚の姿が見え始める。It’s time for the fish to feel warm and to jump through the broken ice. 暖かい春風が川や湖の氷を解かし始める頃となった。周期的な低気圧の通過により、春の兆しとなる暖かい春の風が吹き始める。朝晩の冷え込みは真冬並みであるが、この頃から日中の日差しで家の中ではホッとする暖かさとなる。It’s time when the warm spring breeze begins to thaw ice on rivers and lakes. 鶏始乳（にわとりはじめてとやにつく）

春の気配を感じた鶏が卵を産み始める頃となった。もともとは鶏の産卵期は春から初夏にかけてであり、卵はその時期にしか生まれない貴重品であった。また、時計のない時代、雄鶏特有の甲高い鳴き声は、朝の訪れを知る手だてとされてきた。農家のお嫁さんはその声を聞いて起き出し、竃を炊きつけ朝の準備をしたという。It’s time when the chickens feel spring and start laying eggs. Originally, the laying season of chickens was from spring to early summer, and eggs were valuable goods which were born only at the season. Before clocks became popular, a rooster crowing has been a means for getting the time at break of day. 厳しい寒さで沢の水さえも凍る頃となった。大気の冷えがまさに底となるこの時期、常に流れている川の水が凍ることはめったにないことである。池や沼の水面の氷は、溶けたり凍ったりを繰り返しながら厚みを増していく。It's time when the harsh coldness causes even the dale water to freeze. For the coldness of the atmosphere is at its very bottom, the water in the constantly flowing river is rarely frozen. 款冬華（ふきのはなさく）

凍った地面に、春を告げる蕗（ふき）の花が咲き始める頃となった。茎は地中に伸びていき、地下茎から地表に出てきた花のつぼみがふきのとうである。ふきのとうは独特の香りとほろ苦さが好まれ、天ぷらや煮物やふき味噌などにして食べられる。It's time when butterbur flowers begin to bloom on the frozen ground. The stalks extend into the ground, and the buds of the flowers that have emerged from the underground stalks are butterburs. 再構築すべき防共回廊（関岡英之氏の遺言）

安倍政権が推し進めている「自由で開かれたインド太平洋構想」と並んでもう一つ、再構築すべきと考える日本の世界戦略がある。それは、「防共回廊」と呼ばれる構想であり、かつて旧日本帝国陸軍が極秘で推進していた地政学的世界戦略である。戦後、タブーとして闇に封印されていた歴史であったが、関岡氏が外務省の機密公電をはじめ、新資料を丹念に調べ上げて防共回廊構想の全容を解明している。自分の足で確かめて取材を重ねる姿勢は感銘するところであり、少し仕事は異なっていたがほぼ同じ時に中国やインドの内情を見聞した同世代の日本人として関岡氏の偉業を受け継ぎたい。Along with the Abe Administration's "Free and Open Indo-Pacific Initiative," there is another Japanese global strategy that should be rebuilt. 雉始雊（きじはじめてなく）

雉のオスがメスを求めて鳴き始める頃となった。雉は日本の国鳥で、古名をキギスまたはキギシといい、それが転じて「キジ」になったそうだ。宮廷や貴族の間では美味なるものとして好まれ、雉子の切身を焼いて熱燗の清酒をかけた「御雉子（おきじ）＝雉子酒」は天皇が正月の祝いに用いたとされている。It's time when the male pheasant begins to cry for the female pheasant. 雪下出麦（ゆきわたりてむぎいづる）

麋角解（おおしかのつのおつる）

オス鹿の角が落ちる頃となった。麋（おおしか）は、トナカイやヘラジカなどの大きな角を持つ鹿のこと。繁殖期を終え、この時季に角が抜け落ち、春から新しく生やしはじめる。一方で日本鹿の角が落ちるのは２月から３月頃だそうだ。そう言えば、プレゼント配りに走り回ったトナカイは、夜遅くまで大変だったことでしょう。お疲れさま、ゆっくり休んでください。みなさま、よいお年をお迎え下さい。It is time the male deer's horns fall. ”Oshika” is a deer with large horns, such as reindeer and elk. 乃東生（なつかれくさしょうず）

乃東が芽を出し始める頃となった。冬至（12/22）の頃に芽を出す珍しい植物が、乃東（なつかれくさ）である。乃東は夏枯草（かこそう）とも記し、別名は靭草（うつぼくさ）と呼ばれる。夏至の頃に花が黒色化し、枯れたように見えることからその名が付けられた。冬至は、実は「死に一番近い日」と言われていた。日本では冬至に栄養価の高いものを食べて、寒い冬を乗り切る。西欧でこの時節に訪れるクリスマスは、冬至の太陽復活の祝いが起源と言われている。It’s time when ”Natsukare-kusa" begins to sprout. 鱖魚群（さけのうおむらがる）

鮭が群れをなして川を上っていく頃となった。川で生まれた鮭は、海で大きく育ち、産卵のために故郷の川へと帰っていく。鮭は海中で１～５年過ごすとされているが、不思議なことに彼らは自分の生まれた川をよく覚えており、長く海で生活した後でも、ほとんどの鮭はもとの川に戻ってくるそうだ。It’s time when the salmons swarm up the river. The salmons born in the river grow in the sea and return to home river in order to spawn. 謹賀新年大晦日は大雪となった、その雪も年明けまでには止んだ幸先よく、今朝は初日の出が射した銀世界は１０ｃｍ以上の厚さになっただろうかソリ滑り台は新しい雪でより高く盛り上がったようだ行く年の　災いともに　雪去りて　はつひまばゆい　ピカピカの年足を運ぶのも難しいぐらいに深く新鮮な雪をかき集め山を大きく大きく盛り上げ、そう、カマクラ作りに初挑戦だ子供たちと一緒になって一時間ばかり雪集めと穴掘りに格闘カマクラが完成した、万歳！今年はきっとよい年になるだろう

熊が穴ごもりをして冬眠に入る頃となった。生き物の代表として熊を挙げているが、ほかにも蛙やこうもり、しまりすなど、冬眠をする動物が穴にこもり始める。ところで、原作者トーベ・ヤンソンが生み出したムーミンも、冬眠をするようだ。It’s time for the bears to enter into hibernation after lying in the caves. Bears are picked as representatives of living creatures, but other hibernating animals, such as spiders, bats, and striped squirrels, also start to lie dormant in winter. 東京マラソン２０２０：Workout

2018/08/01からおよそ一年間、人生の記念にしようとマラソン（42.195km）に向けて構想と準備を行ってきました。待望の東京マラソン2020へのランナー参加が、2019/09/20に確定しました。その後、2020オリンピックのマラソン開催が札幌に移行しましたので、東京マラソン２０２０は来年唯一東京で開催されるマラソン大会となり、人生の記念としての希少価値が高まりました。これまでの活動の履歴は、このブログでも何度も紹介してきましたが、以下に更新およびまとめをしておきます。ゼロからトレーニングをはじめて約３ヶ月の後に、ハーフマラソンに初参加して完走しました⇒なると島田島ハーフマラソン。東京マラソンやその関連イベントと連携するランニングアプリであるONE TOKYOの初心者クラス（ジョガー）に参加して、年初からランキング１位となりました⇒ONE TOKYOジョガークラス👑１位👑東京マラソンのボランティア活動に参加しながら東京マラソン運営の様子を学びました⇒大規模イベントにおける危機管理。東京マラソンに参加した選手も多くエントリーしているONE TOKYOのマンスリーバーチャルマラソンはペースメーカとして活用できます⇒積雪そして一面の銀世界。東京マラソン２０１９では、ボランティアメンバーとしてファミリーラン2019・フレンドシップラン2019を実際に体験しました⇒人生の一里塚：Milestones in my life !。写真や動画を撮りながらトレーニングを楽しんでいます⇒荒川の 畔に列なる 野花かな。2020年3月1日（日）開催の東京マラソンを目指して、毎日トレーニングに励んでいるところです。

閉塞成冬（そらさむくふゆとなる）

灰色の冬空に天地が塞がる頃となった。厚く垂れこめた雲に、天と地の気が塞がれ、本格的な冬となる。熊が冬眠に入り、南天の実が赤く色付き、雪が降り始める。生き物が活動を控え、深閑とした冬が大地を覆う。It's time for the sky and the ground to be covered by the gray clouds. It makes a full-fledged winter. The bear goes into hibernation, the fruits of nandina turn red, and snow lies thick on the ground. 橘始黄（たちばなはじめてきばむ）

橘の実が黄色く色づき始める頃となった。常緑樹である橘は、いつも変わらないことから永遠の象徴とされている。昔からみかんをよく食べると風邪や成人病予防にもなると言われている。こたつの上の籠に入ったみかんを囲む団欒風景が、日本人の長寿の秘密かもしれない。It's time for Tachibana's fruits to start turning yellow. Tachibana, an evergreen tree, has always been a symbol of eternity because it does not change. It has long been said that eating mandarin oranges will help prevent colds and adult diseases. 朔風払葉（きたかぜこのはをはらう）

冷たい北風が木の葉を散らす頃となった。葉を落とした木々の冬景色はどこか淋しげで、草木は一見枯れてしまったように見えるが、木の枝には小さな芽が出始めている。土に落ちた木の葉は「望み葉：のぞみば」といい、土の中で肥料となり、めぐりめぐって春を迎える植物の栄養となる。The cold north wind is going to scatter the withered leaves. The winter scenery of the trees with the leaves dropped is somehow sad, and the vegetation seems to have withered at first glance, but small sprouts are beginning to appear on the branches of the trees. 日の光は弱まって虹が見られなくなる頃となった。太陽の角度が低くなることで陽射しが弱まり、曇り空が多くなる一方で、空気は乾燥し、雨が少なくなる。日毎に冷たい風が吹き、冬らしさがそこかしこに漂い、冬支度をはじめたい頃となる。While the daylight is weakening, the rainbow does not glow clear. Lowering the sun's angle reduces sunshine and increases cloudy sky, while air dries and rain decreases. A cold wind blows every day, and the winter is drifting everywhere. 天安門2.0、それは一日ではなく、数か月にまたがって香港で進行している。表現の自由、報道の自由を誇る香港では、何万枚もの写真や映像が、天安門2.0の証拠ファイルとして残されている。自ら自由を勝ち取るために闘うデモ参加者の行動は、知らなければ次は自らが当事者になる私達の身代わり戦線である。Tiananmen 2.0 has been progressing slowly in Hong Kong, not for a day, but for several months. 金盞香（きんせんかさく）

水仙の花が咲き芳しい香りを放つ頃となった。学名の「narcissus：ナルキッソス」は、ギリシャ神話からの命名である。泉に映った自分の姿に恋焦がれ、見続けていたら１本の花になってしまったという少年の名前から名付けられた。その花が水仙であり、ナルシストの語源である。The narcissus flowers bloom and give off fragrant scents. The scientific name “narcissus” is derived from Greek mythology. He was named after the boy who was in love with his appearance in the fountain and had become a flower while he kept watching. 夜間の気温が低くなり大地が次第に凍り始める頃となった。朝は霜が降り、場所によっては霜柱がみられるところがある。夜は冷え込みがいっそう厳しくなり、部屋の窓の結露に注意が必要となる。It's time when the temperature in the night gets low day by day and the surface of the ground begins to freeze slowly. In the early morning it gets frosty and the frost columns form in the northern regions. 2019年度の年⾦制度の国際ランキング（Mercer Ltd.）によると、⽇本の年⾦制度は先進国を中⼼とする37の国と地域のうち31位だった。ランキングの⾸位はオランダ、2位はデンマークで前年と変わらなかった。これらの北欧諸国では、平均余命に合わせて公的年⾦の⽀給開始年齢が変動する仕組みを取り⼊れており、「持続性」の評価が⾼い。日本は年⾦の十分性と持続性を問う項⽬の評価が低いという。According to "Compare The World’s Pension Systems" in 2019 (Mercer Ltd.), Japan's pension system ranked 31st out of 37 countries and regions, mainly advanced and developed nations. The first place in the ranking was the Netherlands, and the second place was Denmark, unchanged from the previous year. In these Scandinavian countries, there is mechanism which changes the age when the pension starts to pay depending on the life expectancy, and the sustainability is highly evaluated. 山茶始開（つばきはじめてひらく）

花の少ない、殺風景な冬枯れの季節にひっそりと可憐に咲く山茶花は、寺院や茶室の庭木としても好まれる花である。時雨がしとしとと降るなか、垣根では山茶花が花開く。ツバキ科の花である山茶花は、童謡「たき火」にも出てくる。落ち葉を掃き集めたたき火に、通りがかった子どもたちが暖を求めて集まってくる風景が目に浮かぶ。In the season of winter withering, when there are few flowers, a sasanqua that blooms quietly is a favorite flower in the temples and in the tea-house gardens. As it rains, sasanqua and camellia trees blossom in the fence at every residence.Sasanqua flowers also appear in nursery rhymes “bonfire”, which we make with the swept fallen leaves.
