How do you explain a 29-point comeback in the NBA Finals? If you are New York Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson , you only need a single word.

Following a breathtaking 107-106 victory over the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 at Madison Square Garden, TNT broadcaster Ernie Johnson asked the point guard the question on everyone's mind: "How on earth did that just happen?"
Brunson looked straight into the camera and offered a simple response: "Believe."
It took a profound level of belief to survive Tuesday night. The Spurs looked ready to tie the series, blitzing New York early and building a massive third-quarter lead. San Antonio star Victor Wembanyama dominated the first half with 16 points, while Knicks big man Karl-Anthony Towns sat on the bench in severe foul trouble.

Instead of folding, Brunson put the franchise on his back. The gritty guard played 44 grueling minutes, chipping away at the deficit by hunting mismatches and drawing fouls. He finished with a game-high 36 points on 12-of-25 shooting and dished out seven assists, single-handedly fueling the offense until his teammates woke up.
Brunson's relentless attack set up the final, chaotic sequence. Trailing by one, his late jumper missed, but forward OG Anunoby crashed the glass for a historic, game-winning putback with 1.2 seconds left. The bucket capped Anunoby's own 33-point masterpiece and secured an improbable 3-1 series lead.
The second-half turnaround stemmed from total defensive buy-in. New York suffocated the Spurs after halftime, holding them to a dismal 20.5% from the field and holding Wembanyama to a mere 3-of-14 shooting display down the stretch.
The Knicks now stand just one victory away from their first NBA championship in 53 years. For a fanbase that has waited decades, and a team that refused to quit, that one word means everything.
