Zxavian Harris and Dae’Quan Wright are ineligible to join any NFL teams this season after they attempted to return to college and play for LSU, the league said in a memo sent to each NFL team. Both had tryouts in the NFL this summer after going undrafted.

Two players from LSU Tigers coach Lane Kiffin’s former squad, the Ole Miss Rebels, Dae’Quan Wright and Zxavian Harris, will not get the chance to return to college football and play once more for Kiffin. Throughout the current offseason, Kiffin and his staff fought with the NCAA to allow them to return to the sport.
