A historic piece of the Eerie Canal System, this 19th-century bridge is an iconic engineering feat achieved by the eminent Nathan Roberts. Earlier used as a means of transportation for automobiles, the sturdy stone bridge boasts seven arcs, which together loom over the Genesee River. The bridge spans 800 feet (244 meters) in length and its inner recesses are adorned with vibrant graffiti.

Holy Sepulchre Cemetery is one of the largest cemeteries in Rochester, located on Lake Avenue. The cemetery, with the trees and lush green grass, is a touching yet peaceful reminder of the fragility of life. Maintained very well with a kiosk for information about lost loved ones for grieving families, the cemetery is a calm place to reflect upon life.
Mount Hope Cemetery has a vast, tranquil expanse of burial ground near Mount Hope Avenue. While winters cover the grounds in ice, the gravestones and monuments are shrouded with the calming shadows of lush green trees during summers. Built in 1938, the architectural style of the mausoleums and sepulchres is largely Victorian with Gothic elements. It is the last resting place for some of the eminent personalities like Frederick Douglass, John Jacob Bausch and Blanche Stuart Scott.
