Ahead of roster cutdown day on Sunday, the Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly released their first player.

The Jacksonville Jaguarsofficially announced they signed former Las Vegas Raiders and Tennessee Titans linebacker Amari Burney. In a corresponding move, they waived former Western Michigan cornerback Keni-H Lovely, who spent the last year on the Jaguars' practice squad. Burney has played in 24 games and tallied 32 tackles (20 solo), 1 forced fumble, 1 sack and three tackles for loss over his two years with the Raiders.

The Jacksonville Jaguars have made another roster addition at linebacker and waived a cornerback as the corresponding move.

The Jaguars picked up a new linebacker on Tuesday morning.
