Man, I, I struggle with Stroud, though.
Yeah.
For a guy who seemed to do everything right, rookie year, and he's regressed since.
His pocket awareness has become an issue, takes too many sacks, takes too many negative plays.
It's like, "Well, we need to get better than the guy we have."
It's like, Well, who are you gonna replace him with, right?
I mean, Houston won't have the draft capital to draft a quarterback early enough.
They kind of have to live with another cycle of Stroud for a few more years.
And I wish I trusted C.J.
Stroud.
I feel like it's been a couple of years since I did.
There have been 429 quarterbacks in the NFL playoffs since 2007.
C.J.
Stroud's EPA per dropback was 418th out of those 429 quarterbacks.
Like, it's just, It's brutal.
I, I think Aikman said it really well at the end of this game, Scott, where he said, "He has regressed from the player he was season."
When he was legitimately very, very good, he's gotten worse every year since.
Then, and they need to figure out why.
Point-blank, period.
They've gotta figure out why.
