The timing behind Mike McDaniel's firing in Miami is peculiar.

John Harbaugh becomes available and we re-scramble everything.

The simplest explanation is that John Harbaugh is available.
Everybody seemingly knows, look, John Harbaugh wants some juice in the front office.
It's interesting that the Miami Dolphins have that GM position open and decided to push Mike McDaniel out the door, and then adding a new GM candidate to the mix is interesting.
You also have to assume that John Harbaugh is going to want the Dolphins job.
That he's already decided that, and that he doesn't want any of the other openings that Undoubtedly, it could be his if the price is right.
