I feel like America was rooting for Ole Miss, right?
Like, there's just this Yeah.
The narrative, and it was such a special playoff run.
I can't figure out how sustainable that is when it rolls into next year.
So, was this a magical moment or the beginning of a new chapter of Ole Miss dominance?
I mean, the question is whether they are able to build on it with recruiting.
It's everybody else, you know, that is facing the same exact problem that Ole Miss is.
Now.
Yes, they could ride this.
"Nobody believes in us.
Our head coach ran out on us.
We don't have anything to fight for but, you know, ourselves."
They could ride that for This playoff run, it's come to an end, sadly.
For Ole Miss.
But yeah, I mean, they put themselves on the map.
They have visibility in a way that they didn't have before, and that's part of the fight here.
I mean, Indiana has shown us it doesn't matter what you used to be.
Even three years ago.
If you can turn around your team with recruiting, with the right coaching, With the right attitude, with all that, and with the right money, I should say before anything, that anything is possible.
And that's, that's what Ole Miss is looking at right now.
They got themselves on the national map.
They put themselves ahead of every other SEC.
Team in this College Football Playoff.
Now, what do they do with it?
Busby, I'm going to take you straight into first-take land here.
We're going to get you right out on a hot take, okay?
I, I love it.
I love it.
So you have to bet, you have to bet the Busby empire, the entire empire.
All right.
... On this question.
All in.
All in.
More likely, more likely to play for a national championship first.
Ole Miss or Lane Kiffin?
I have to say Lane Kiffin.
As much as I would love to see Lane Kiffin get close and not do it, I think that, in terms of what he's got available to him at LSU, He's got the resources, he's got the talent, and he's got the draw.
I think he will be closer than Ole Miss is.
But if he is, you know, there's going to be a huge contingent of Ole Miss fans buying Tickets to that just to boo him from the stands.
