Do you think Lane Kiffin is happy this morning?

Sure, he's half a million dollars richer.

Hmm.

Sure, you know, it's his former team and The team that he constructed and the team that he led for the last five years is heading to the College Football Playoff semifinal, but do you think that he watched that game last night?

And really, truly wanted Ole Miss to win?

Uh, no.

I mean, look, at the end of the day, most people have a little bit of competitive nature.

How many people are actually happy for their ex when their ex goes out and thrives?

Right?

Like, yes, I mean, he's going to be happy for those players, and I'm sure he's happy for the coaches and all of those right things that you I have to say, but, uh, certainly, you- you- you start to feel like if you're Ole Miss, Man, if they're just moving on without you, boy, they look really smart in this entire situation.

And, by the way, in fairness, Caroline, to be transparent, even in our group text when we were watching the game, At the end of the first half, I was wondering if Ole Miss missed Lane Kiffin.

Right?

Mm-hmm.

Like, they were down 21 to 12 at the end of the First half, it was disjointed play-calling, There was a bad sequence with clock management in the field goal attempt that they Couldn't get off at the end of the first half, there were some dropped passes.

The team looked disjointed.

I when's the last time we saw that sort of a second half, come out and just whoop somebody's ass, sort of momentum out of an Ole Miss team that needed a kick in the butt?

Like, I feel like Ole Miss came out and gave Use the second half for the gods, which speaks to whatever happened at halftime from the coaching staff they had, which doesn't include Lane Kiffin.

It speaks to coaching.

Pete Golding, in his second game as a head Coach has done more and achieved more than Lane Kiffin ever did at Ole Miss.

Did... Has done more and achieved more than Kalen.

DeBoer at Alabama has done more, achieved more, and won more than Brian Kelly did at LSU.

So I think we're going to have to step back and Look at and think, you know, maybe Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss because he didn't actually believe that this team had what it took to go on a run and win a national championship.

And when you beat Georgia the way that they did last night, I have to think that Lane Kiffin was wrong.
