New England Patriots are next.
Speaking of quarterbacks, we all know that Drake May, friend of the show, finishes the quarterback two in points per game last year.
He's being drafted right now as quarterback four on Yahoo.
I think that varies depending on where everyone is drafting at this point.
Just to reiterate what he did last year.
On throws 10 or more yards down the field, he completed 61% of those passes, the second highest rate, for a league high 13.4 yards per attempt.
The league average, for completion rate was 48 and a half percent, so 12% higher, not bad.
And to remind you who he's throwing to on those 10 plus yard passes, Mack Hollins got 33, Keyshawn Booty got 33, Stefon Diggs got 31, and Hunter Henry got 27.
Now he gets A.J.
Brown, even if slightly a diminished version, he still gets A.J.
Brown.
He also gets Romeo Doubs and keeps Keyshawn Booty, who is like an isolated wide receiver, should threaten defenses over and over again from the outside, and is doing it in camp so far.
So this is exciting.
I mean, it's an improvement for a player who took major strides in year two.
I think the only possible red flag here is how his left tackle was almost victimized during the playoffs and the Super Bowl, and I'm not saying every defense can do that to him, but it did show where like, the weakness of this team can be and, if they can overcome it for all 17 games.
