You reported last year that Max, was unhappy, that he was shut down.
I remember Ian Rapoport got- the team went to him and said, "Oh, Max Crosby, you know, we're gonna do right by him.
We're gonna shut him down, and, you know, we're really gonna protect him from him."
And then Max is on the other line going, "Man, screw these guys!
They're shutting me down.
I am not about this.
Hell no, I'm not doing it.
I left the facility.
I'm out.
I wanna get traded.
I'm done."
And I was kinda trying to talk him off the ledge, and then I went to the GM, John Spytek.
I'm like, "Spy, you gotta understand, there's a couple guys, if they tell you their plan, their plan."
I think his time with the Raiders is done.
I do.
Okay.
Before the draft?
Yeah, probably.
Yeah.
Is there a landing spot that makes sense, in your opinion?
A ton of them.
I'm not gonna say what it is yet- What kind- ... because I'm gonna try and help it out.
Sure, sure.
What kind of haul do you think, realistically, Max Crosby gets in general?
He, Probably more than Micah.
So the day it happened, no less than 20 teams called me- ... and asked, "Dude, is this real?
Can we get him?
What's it for?"
I'm like, "Ah, we're not there yet, but, yes, it's real."
Do you think his time with the Raiders is done because that's a Raiders decision or because that's a Max Crosby decision?
It's Max's decision.
He didn't wanna do it.
Yeah.
But he was just like, "I'm not going through another rebuild."
Mm-hmm.
And, and like he and Mac- he and, the owner are very close.
They're a really cool relationship.
They legitimately love each other.
And he went and, you know, talked to him about it and said, "I promise you I'll always be a Raider, but I- man, I, I don't wanna go through another rebuild.
I've done everything I can for this team."
But also, like, remember I just said, "If I'm hurt and tired, you'll never know it.
You're honor to fight hurt."
Honor.
It's your honor to fight hurt, and he, You gotta let him do that.
Makes him feel like a gangster, and, you can't take that from him.
He's different.
So I think the haul for him will be more than Micah.
