I was listening to Mauricio Pochettino's post-game press conference, and he got several questions about, like, "Is this a disappointment?

What does this do for momentum?"

And Mauricio Pochettino was like, "I don't understand what you mean with momentum.

Like, I don't, I don't, I don't understand that concept.

No, this doesn't do anything for our momentum."

So Tyler Adams, Balogun, Antonee Robinson, Chris Richards, they were all sitting on yellow cards.

We didn't see Christian Pulisic until the second half.

He goes, "Look, this is not the team that we're gonna be playing with for the entirety of the tournament."

But what those guys did get, some of those reserves did get, was quality and important match experience and in-game minutes that are probably going to be invaluable as the US continues to go throughout this tournament.

Depth, we know in any form or fashion, in any sport, but especially in a tournament like this, depth is of the utmost importance.

So you're getting some of those guys live action minutes.

And then Mauricio Pochettino even called, the question about, like, a disappointment, he said, "That's a weird..." He goes, "That was a weird question.

That's weird.

Like, no, we're not disappointed.

We won.

Like, sorry to remind everybody that we won.

Sure, it stinks to lose a battle, but we won the war."

So just hearing Mauricio Pochettino talk about it, o- of course, I knew and we all knew that this game was essentially, in the grand scheme of things, totally and completely unimportant.

But to hear Mauricio Pochettino, you know, the, the head man in charge of the USMNT talk about it like, "Why is everybody freaking out so much?"

I'm like, yeah, why is everybody freaking out so much?

It was a game, and of course you wanna win every single time you're out there on the court, you're out there on the pitch, you're out there on the field, you're out there wherever you might be whenever you're re- representing the Stars and Stripes.

But the USMNT is in a, is in a good position moving forward
