This team, number one overall pick in the disappointing draft, is the San Francisco Giants.
There is no way out for this team.
There's only maybe two players on this team that could be sold at the deadline, even if they want to do that.
They kind of stole a ton of offseason headlines by experimenting a lot with what they had.
There was moving Jung Hoo Lee off of center field.
There was saying, "We're the only team that believes in Luis Arias to play second base, so we'll pay him to be our second baseman.
We're gonna hire a college manager because no one's ever done that before, and we wanna shake things up."
It has blown up in a, a cat- catastrophic way to the point where even the Giants cannot hang their hat on the fact that they are around the middle every year.
The past four years, that's been the story with them.
They've hung around 500.
They've been right in the middle of things ever since that 2021 blip.
Now they're 22 and 33. they're not getting pitching, even from the guys they've counted on in prior years.
They're not hitting at all.
they're not playing great defense either.
They don't really seem to do anything well
