But the one that stands out to me in that top 10 in projected points, Judarian Price and this Seattle backfield.
What is your take?
What is your read on what Seattle's backfield is gonna look like this year?
Because, Nate, dare I say how confusing it was last year, with neither one of the runners probably playing in week one, it kinda makes it even more confusing heading into 2026.
And what makes it even more frustrating is that because the other guy, George Holani, that might be kind of the stopgap until Zach Charbonnet comes back, there's certain roles I truly-- I have no-- Like as far as I wanna say certain roles like pass protection- Yep screens, like just these types of mini roles that usually mean can indicate a bigger role coming down the road, I'm projecting off of that.
Maybe just glimpses.
I, I actually liked George Holani when I saw him preseason last year, and then I know he had to play a little bit l- at the end of the year after Charbonnet got hurt, but then they were like, "Hey, Walker, yeah, you're several tiers better."
But I think they're waiting for Price no matter what is going to have a big chunk of this backfield.
That's why he's drafting round one.
I think all the stuff that early on about like, oh, you know, the classic depth chart stuff is, "Oh, he's this, he's that.
He's not running back one yet."
He's-- It's gonna be his backfield.
But I think when Charbonnet comes back, it's gonna be another frustrating You know, this might be the second half of the year, which is not ideal, unless Price just goes bananas.
Yeah.
But I do think it's just gonna be that 60/40, you know, or a maybe a 60/30/10 with Holani, you know, just kinda how it ended up being, 'cause that is what this offense is kinda based off of.
That's what they're trying to go for.
They don't probably consider Price a CMC-worthy type of running back.
Yeah.
So it's back to that this is Shanahan offense.
This is the frustration of a Sh- the classic frustration of a Shanahan offense in fantasy is who is the hot hand?
Yes, Price is gonna have more opportunities to be that, but Charbonnet has kind of those mini roles that, like he's great in protection- Yeah that helps him carve out a role no matter what on passing downs.
So it's kinda like, all right, until I can see Price or Holani in that in the preseason really, then I can kinda maybe lean one way.
But it's-- Price is gonna have a chunk, but it's, it's just gonna be a chunk, I think.
