I think he's one of these players that we could look back on it and say he wasn't getting enough attention, during fantasy draft season.
I mean, so much of the focus based on what happened last year with K9 and Zach Charbonnet is gonna be, well, how's the running back split gonna be this year with the Seahawks?
And right now, that's just Ja'Darian Price, by the way, a first-round pick in the NFL draft, and George Holani.
To me, it's not gonna be as rigid.
It's not gonna be the same.
You know, it's not gonna be the case of Ken Walker III, my beloved player, getting the Seattle Seahawks into the red zone and then, you know, Zach Charbonnet popping in for 65% of the red zone touches.
I do not think that George Holani is going to get 65% of the, red zone touches.
And in fact, if he just gets the third down and passing down work, great.
That's like the least valuable touches and, and opportunity a, a running back can get in fantasy football.
So for as long as Zach Charbonnet is out of this lineup, there's a chance for Ja'Darian Price, to me, to go absolutely nuclear here.
Right?
Now, there's been a lot of, let's say, optimism about Zach Charbonnet returning.
I'm just gonna fade that, to be honest.
I mean, he had major knee surgery in February, and I don't think he's gonna be nearly the player that he was last year.
So while it's probably a directive from Mike McDonald to split some carries, I just don't think it's going to be, again, as rigid.
And we also probably have a two-game runway here for Ja'Darian Price to, like, really get going.
And you're taking him in this section, I know we're, we're probably gonna talk about this, with a bunch of split backfield players.
He might just be the best of the bunch.
So I moved him out of that range of the split backfield guys- Love it into my fourth tier, 58th overall player, because I just sat there and looked at it, Josh, and, and Boone, I'm curious, well, one of Moved him ahead of one of the guys that you made a really compelling argument for in New York City the other day.
You're like, "Quinshon Judkins, great, great schedule this year.
Bold prediction," the whole deal.
I was like, "I'm actually gonna move him ahead of Quinshon Judkins," 'cause like do I- I also have him one spot ahead of Quinshon Judkins.
Okay, well, there we go too.
And ahead of certainly Josh Jacobs, who's at the bottom of that tier for me.
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah, I'm, I'm taking Ja'Darian Price over Josh Jacobs at this point every single time.
And again, I'm even looking at the other guys in that tier, like, is there any reason to feel more confident in a Kam Scatboob- Well- or a David Montgomery type?
Like, I, I'm not convinced.
I'll just go through it.
TreVeyon Henderson, Basile Tuton, Bucky Irving, David Montgomery, Kam Scatboob, Quinshon Judkins are all the running backs selected ahead of him.
I mean, those are all split backfields.
Yeah.
And yet it's just Ja'Darian's at, at the end of it.
And I mentioned the schedule.
It's the Cardinals and the Commanders in week two and week three.
So again, we might have some, like, real fireworks early on, and then can you put, like, the special sauce back in the bottle after that?
