San Francisco 49ers have already been fairly active during NFL free agency, making several additions while also bringing back a number of their own players.
So far this off-season, the San Francisco 49ers have added six players from outside the organization, most notably signing wide receiver veteran Mike Evans, who started his career and been for the last twelve years with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
He's agreed to a three-year deal to join the 49ers.
In addition to Evans, they have also bolstered their defensive front by trading for defensive tackle Odigizuwa from the Dallas Cowboys.
The team also has reunited with linebacker Dre Greenlaw after being released by the Denver Broncos.
San Francisco added depth along the offensive line as well, signing Vedarian Lowe and Brett, Brett Toth.
Another defensive addition came in the secondary with the signing of cornerback Nate Hobbs.
Along with those outside additions, the 49ers have also retained several of their own players.
The team resigned kicker Eddie Pinero to a multi-year extension, making him the only player so far this off-season to receive a deal longer than one year.
San Francisco also brought back long snapper John Weeks, linebacker Garrett Wallow, tight end Jake Tonges, running back Patrick Taylor, offensive tackle Austin Pleasants, and defensive end Sam Okwuonu.
Okwuonu returned on a restricted free agent tender.
There has also been several departures for San Francisco during free agency, including defensive lineman Jordan Elliott, who has signed with the Tennessee Titans.
Wide receiver Kendrick Bourne has joined the Arizona Cardinals, while former 49ers receiver Sky Moore has reportedly signed with the Green Bay Packers.
Offensive lineman Matt Hennessy has also landed with the Dallas Cowboys.
Elsewhere, defensive lineman Robert Beard-- Beale Jr. has signed with the Miami Dolphins, while veteran passer Bryce Huff announced his retirement on Instagram.
While Friday and Saturday could be quieter days for signing across the NFL, there are still several storylines developing around the 49ers and the rest of the league as free agency continues.
