Now, the numbers aren't out yet.

There had been a report or two that teams had been offering him north of twenty-seven million per year.

We'll see how that all shakes out.

We'll see if it's a true three-year deal.

A lot of times extra years get tacked on for cap purposes.

The thinking was he was gonna be looking at a one-year deal wherever he goes.

Maybe it's a firm two years.

We'll see.

Mike Evans, though, a guy who already has a Hall of Fame resume, won a Super Bowl with the Buccaneers back in twenty twenty, now goes to the 49ers, a team that is close, is competitive, and needs help at receiver.

The one key issue with him is those hamstring injuries he's had in recent years.

Can they manage those?

Maybe the electrical substation will help.

I don't know.

Let's not go there today.

But Evans is going there Wednesday.

He'll sign a contract, and he'll continue, if not finish his career, with the 49ers.
