100 wins, what's it feel like?
Feels great, man.
Like, I'm, I've been on this for a little bit, you know, and get it to 100 wins is something that I was, I wanna accomplish, and I had the opportunity to accomplish here, and especially here with the, with the team that, like, we've been playing really good.
So I just love it, you know?
The stat of wins has kinda been devalued across baseball lately.
Mm-hmm.
Why, why do you think it still means something to you?
I mean, I don't really care about, like, if it's been, it's been That people, the way they see it, you know, it's 100 wins, it's 100 wins, and, I just had the opportunity to get it, and, I feel like especially for my country, you know, it's a lot of guys who've been getting 100 wins, throughout the big leagues, throughout, my country.
Mm-hmm.
I know, like, there is not too many of them, and part of that, being part of that is just something special for me.
What was working for you today?
the fastball.
The fastball was working great.
The, the command on the fastballs was good, like especially with the fastball up, and they was chasing it.
And I was just keep throwing it, you know, getting quick outs, throwing ground ball, double plays.
defense was great behind me today.
Every ground ball was turned into a play, and, and I love it, you know?
So the, the being on that list, it's a pretty short list of Venezuelan- Mm-hmm guys.
That's kind of unique for you?
That's a, that's a big part of it for you?
Yeah, I mean, like I say, that's just special, you know.
Especially, like I said, for my country, that I know, like, like you just said, there's, there's just not many guys that have been getting, been getting to 100. get the opportunity to be there with all those name, all those guys that I think I know half of them, and, and I'm, and I'm proud, I'll be part of the group with them.
