Bears Mailbag: Who Will Be Caleb Williams' Third Wide Receiver This Season?
The Chicago Bears have plenty of weapons for Caleb Williams to utilize this season, but who will claim the third wide receiver spot?

What's going on everybody?
Nicholas Moriano here from Bears Roundtable Sports.
For today's video, we look into a recent fan-submitted question revolving all around the Bears wide receivers.
The question is, who will be the third wide receiver?
Rome or Luther will probably be out for some portion of the season, so who gets the third wide receiver reps?
Maybe a tight end.
So for this question, I wanted to focus strictly on the wide receivers, even though I do firmly believe that tight ends Coleson Loveland, Cole Kmet will have, will be feature points in this Bears offense, and Coleson Loveland will be a major portion, in the Bears receiving game.
But just looking at the three wide receivers or who could be the third after Rome, after Luther, whichever order you want to put those two in, I immediately came up with an answer without really having to think about this one.
It's Kalif Raymond.
Although he's thirty-one, smaller in size, he has plenty of experience in Ben Johnson's offense.
Dating back to twenty twenty-two when Johnson became the play caller in Detroit, Kalif Raymond had his best season of, of his career.
Looking at that year, K- Kalif caught forty-seven passes for six hundred and sixteen yards, both career highs for Kalif Raymond.
And I just think in this offense at that third wide receiver spot, that's his role.
U- unless guys like rookie Xavion Thomas can earn the respect from the coaching staff, r- earn the trust from the coaching staff to be out there on an everyday basis.
But I just don't know how big of a role he's gonna have in his rookie season.
And then there's also Jahdae Walker, who I do- don't wanna forget about, especially some of the plays he made for the Bears in the, you know, against the Green Bay Packers and things like that.
But just to me, when I'm looking at who's the most logical player to be that third wide receiver, it is the veteran, the thirty-one-year-old.
And look, there's been times throughout this off-season where Tyson Bagent, Bears backup quarterback, was asked to highlight a player that, you know, he, he has high-- he would put stock into.
He highlighted Raymond.
He said, "Kalif Raymond's a bad dude, man, I'm telling you.
He's explosive.
I can see him fitting in somewhere in our offense.
It's way too early buying stock, but he's been a great addition."
And I just think with Kalif Raymond having familiarity with Ben Johnson, being that veteran, he's somebody that will have a role in this offense, but I don't think it's gonna be all that significant.
And even after that twenty twenty-two season with Johnson, you saw his production dip as the Lions were able to get more playmakers, Sam LaPorta, Jahmyr Gibbs, a part of the passing game.
And the Bears have plenty of options in the passing game that Caleb Williams can utilize.
So Kalif Raymond, I think, will be the third wide receiver in terms of production.
Shoot, even if it's somewhere around what Olamide Zaccheaus brought to the Bears in one season, thirty-nine receptions, three hundred and thirteen yards, two touchdowns.
That seems about right for where Raymond could end up in his one season so far with, with the Bears after it's all said and done.
