Boston Red Sox Add Trade Deadline Additions to Active Roster in Series of Transactions
The Red Sox added Erik Miller, Eli White and Jake Rogers to their active roster.

Zach Coe here for Roundtable.
Ahead of Tuesday night's series opener between the Red Sox and the White Sox.
That's right, the battle of the Sox taking place here at Fenway Park.
But ahead of tonight's game, the Red Sox announced a series of roster moves to add three of their four trade deadline acquisitions to their active roster.
Of course, Adley Rutschman is the lone exception to that as he's on the injured list with left wrist inflammation.
But Jake Rogers, Eric Miller, and Eli White were all added to that 26-man roster.
To make room, the team designated reliever Ryan Watson for assignment and optioned utility man Rommy Gonzlez to Worcester.
I wanna take a minute to talk about those two guys that, saw the bad side of these transactions.
That's Ryan Watson and Rommy Gonzlez, of course.
Watson now will head to waivers.
He was a rule five pick from the Giants.
He got selected by the Athletics actually, and then traded to the Red Sox shortly after that rule five draft.
So he'll head to waivers now, where if he goes unclaimed, he'll be returned to the Giants organization.
It's pretty tough luck for him.
He spent the entire season on a Major League roster, and if he goes unclaimed, he'll head back to San Francisco, where he won't be on the 40-man roster and will have to earn his way back up to the big leagues.
But he performed pretty admirably in his mop-up/human victory cigar role, an ERA just north of five, and provided the team exactly what they needed, innings in games that were either blowouts for or against the Red Sox, allowing the bullpen to get some rest.
And in Rommy Gonzlez's case, obviously he's a big part of this thing moving forward.
He's a lefty killer.
Last season, he was up there with Shohei Ohtani and Aaron Judge in OPS against left-handed pitching.
But he was clearly rushed back, only six rehab games after missing the first 81 games of the season with that shoulder injury.
And the team really needed him back.
The offense was in a bad place, so they forced him along a little bit quicker than he necessarily was ready for, and he clearly showed that rust throughout his time here up with the Red Sox.
Nineteen games, he was batting below the Mendoza Line, and just clearly didn't have his timing right.
So he'll head back down to Triple-A Worcester where he'll get the at-bats necessary to get his timing down before eventually rejoining the Red Sox in that lefty killer role.
