That the pieces do still do not make sense in the outfield obviously now.
Like I said, you have, Willier, Cedon, Duran, Yoshida, Jamai Jones, and Eli White out there.
Breslow talked about him and they were like, "Well, like we- he plays good defense, so we feel comfortable that if any of the guys out in the outfield need a day off, that he can go out there and we don't lose a step defensively."
Didn't really talk much about his offensive capabilities because there's not much to talk about on that front.
I just, I don't know who goes down now when you look at the roster here because it, it really does not make a whole lot of sense because, so Adley's gonna slide into-- You lose what?
So the 40-man spot out, Uberstein, Meyer- Narvaez Narvaez in.
You have White, Rutschman, Miller, Rogers.
Rogers, yeah.
So you need a 40-man spot, and 26-man roster-wise you lose Narvaez, who we'll say Rogers fills that spot, 20 s- on the 26 man.
So then you need two spots on your 26-man roster.
So I just- Yeah, I don't know who goes down because I, Jamai Jones has been incredible for this team.
I just find it hard to believe that he's gonna be, like he doesn't have any options, so he d- he has to go down if that's what the move is.
Like you said, you're not, you're not getting rid of Jamai Jones I wouldn't imagine, for Eli White, who's probably DFA'd once Roman is healthy, which I guess we, we still don't know when that's gonna be.
But like Siegler has been too much of a spark plug and you really don't have an answer at second base.
I, I guess maybe Sogard goes back down for one of the spots.
Maybe, which is unfortunate.
Uh- Maybe he that whole thing where like he got to Sacramento after like taking a weird connecting flight, it I don't know, I just like Sogard.
I, I wouldn't be surprised if he was sent down, but we were talking about it earlier, I also wouldn't be surprised if they just send Duran down for a bit.
Right, yeah.
Do they, do they IL Romy because they rushed him back and it's like, okay, well the shoulder clearly isn't right, so they IL him, have him sit for a week, kinda rest things, and then send him back on a lengthier rehab assignment to kinda get his timing back?
Maybe.
I wouldn't hate that.
He, I mean, he's been a shell of himself this year, so we'll- Yeah.
I mean, what's the point?
Yeah, there aren't a lot of options, so s- at least one person's gonna have to get DFA'd.
I am leaning towards Ryan Watson, although I do feel like that probably gives you more than enough outfielders.
So I, I feel like it has to be a positional guy, and I'm kinda hoping it's Duran, but I don't know if they'll ultimately do it
