Brady Bacon scored his first USAC Indiana Sprint Week win of 2026 at Circle City. He reacts post-race.

You said earlier during that front row interview that you had a really fast race car and things just hadn't been going your way.
Whether it was circumstance, luck, fortune, what besides starting on the front row fell your way tonight?
I think that was pretty much it.
I mean, with the cushion being so low on entry I knew it was gonna be tough to pass, and if I could get out in front and not make any mistakes, I'd be pretty hard to beat.
So pretty sloppy first couple laps, but when I got, once I got it figured out we were really good.
Sorry to disappoint everybody, Macho Girl's not here tonight.
She's at home.
She had some basketball camp, but maybe they can do a little video at home and show everybody.
But, just like to thank Sean.
We got a We were a little low on crew, so we got a couple kids from Australia, Riley and Cody, that are over here to learn, and they've been working their butts off.
Sprint week's tough, especially for, new people, and they came across the world to do it.
So they've been working hard.
And, yeah, we've been fast every night.
Chris Dyson gives us all the tools we need to go fast.
This is some of the same engines we ran with the 69 from Gene Francoviak, and they run good as always from Ryder Racing Engines.
So, yeah, we're just gonna keep, plugging away.
We had a solid week so far, and hopefully we can clip a, couple more wins off here and, wind up, with a rocking chair at the end of the week.
The cushion did seem particularly tricky, especially in the early runnings of those laps.
No matter how many times it bit you back, did you ever waver on your plan to run the top?
No, I mean, I thought that was gonna be the place to be, especially, like you could get a really good run off of two if you just got it right.
And once I kind of just dialed in my speed and where I needed to be, spinning the tires, I was pretty good.
Coming off of four kind of made me nervous when we were kind of over the shelf, but, you could kind of bang off the wall and still keep your m- keep your momentum and speed up.
So, yeah, I just kind of My game plan was to go up there and try not to make any mistakes and make someone beat me somewhere else.
