Browns beat writer Chris Easterling camp recap: 'Boys will be boys'
Cleveland Browns starters didn't get a lot of work in day 19 of training camp, but there still was a hint of spiciness, according to Chris Easterling.

I guess maybe you call this the last training camp day.
It's day 19 regardless.
Browns went a full, two hours on the field today because, none of the starters and, and many of the other regulars aren't going to play Thursday night when they play the Patriots at home in their final preseason game.
That's gonna be a game started by Dillon Gabriel.
Caleb Green's gonna be the other quarterback.
Todd Monken saying today that he, he really just wants to see both Gabriel and Green i-in, in game action.
That Gabriel, got three snaps.
Two of 'em, I think at least were, had penalties.
H-he was just Monken not very happy, wasn't very happy with-- didn't think it was fair either, excuse me, with, you know, with the snaps, that, that Gabriel got against the Bills.
So he wants to make sure he gets a, a decent amount of play t- this week against the, against the Patriots.
But they really weren't doing anything to prepare for New England because, again, the starters weren't playing, so there was a lot of, a lot of attention today for the starters.
And then, a little bit of tension at the end.
Trey Avery, goes high on a hit on, wide receiver Cole Wilson.
Ball's jarred free, intercepted, and at the end of that, after the defense gets done celebrating, Titus Howard, big right tackle, g-coming, kinda, kinda come in, setting a tone, you know, making a, a point for the offense, you know, jumps on top of Avery and sidelines clear and boys will be boys.
But, you know, it carried on even a little bit past, past the, the end of practice.
Jerry Jeudy, barking at some defensive players.
Enough that, both wide receiver Chri- coach Christian Jones and defensive coordinator Mike Rutenberg, came to talk to him.
But, again, boys being boys, just within five minutes, Jeudy, Grant Delpit, Quincy Williams were all, you know, joking with each other as they were getting ready to go in the locker room.
So it's one of those, you know, once you, once you cross the white lines and, and, and get outside of 'em, at the end of practice, it's, bygones be bygones and, and, back to, you know, cutting up with, with, with the boys.
So, that's how it ended.
And one, one other point to, to mention, Mykah Coach Jr. Has been a very promising young cornerback in the camp.
Did wal- need help walking off the field.
Looks like a right leg injury.
No update there.
So again, off day tomorrow.
