Day four for Saturday practice of the, camp and, obviously the quarterbacks, center stage.
Both Shedeur and Deshaun talked, before practice, added to Todd Monken.
And, you know, both quarterbacks obviously acknowledging that, look, it's still a day-to-day process.
They're still figuring things out.
Shedeur trying to, you know, con-- pro-- show the consistency he needs to show, to s-- for, you know, take the starting job that he had at the end of his rookie year.
Deshaun trying to s-- you know, trying to show he can still be a quarter-- starting quarterback in the league after missing the last year and a half because of the Achilles tear.
So, Todd Monken did say that, you know, they're in the middle of an eight-practice install period, which in his words, they're not fully evaluating the quarterbacks in this time.
That will start, you know, the last of those eight practices is Thursday.
That will be day four of a six-day consecutive stretch of, of practices for them.
As for today, Shedeur worked with the ones.
Looked very sharp, i-in the, the amount of time I saw him in a lot of the team drills.
Really, Jerry Jeudy popped today, I, I thought.
Shedeur really made a connection with him.
Denzel Boston, Casey Kasecem, you know, just continue to be what they have been all camp, which is, is, is really good, especially Boston.
Deshaun Watson, practice, had a, pick-six off a deflected pass, working with the twos by Christopher Edmond, and then threw a, two-minute drill, pick to, Edmonds to end the practice.
Look, again, there's a lo-- there's a lot going on.
It, it's hard to say, you know, but Watson has thrown, you know, multiple picks.
Sanders, you know, threw his first pick today at the-- of, of, of training camp.
But again, it, it's still way early in the process.
But, but if, you know, if you were, you were scoring at home, I, I would say it is, Shedeur with the, with, with the advantage.
But the, the person making the decision says there, there, there's no advantage yet for anyone.
So we shall see.
Monday, the pads come on fully and, again, six consecutive days, of practice starting Monday for, for the Browns, and, we'll be right there with them.
