Can you kind of just walk us through what, what happened there?

honestly, I, I don't know.

I, if I had answers for you, I'd have answers for myself, and I just don't right now.

I'm digging, I'm trying, I'm looking everywhere.

I just, I just don't know.

Like I wish I had better answers for you, but I just don't.

I mean, you, it, it's clear you've done a lot of analyzing on this and everything, and it seems just the one inning, it just gets sped up, and you can't get the pitch to get out of it.

I mean, does it feel like that on the mound, or what are you feeling when you're out there?

it feels like I'm making good pitches.

It feels like I'm, you know, trying to stay pitch to pitch.

Like, you know, when I'm, when I'm at my best, that's, that's what I feel like I'm doing.

It feels like I did that today.

yeah, the one inning it's like three-two hit, ball down the line, good pitch for a double.

yeah, I, I really I'm sorry.

I wish I had better answers for you.

I just don't.

You had such a good start against Baltimore.

Did you feel the same today and just the results were different, or did something feel different?

Nope.

It was- I mean, obviously, is it, it's correctable in your mind, but like, you know, is just something like a little bit of success here or there on the road can change that or?

Yeah, I don't know.

I, I don't feel like I'm doing anything different on the road.

I feel like, you know, everything I, I try to keep as consistent as I can home, home or, away.

yeah, I, I'm sorry.

I think I, I really genuinely wish I had better answers for you guys.

I just don't.

like I said, if I had answers for you, I'd have answers for myself, and I'm looking, and I'm trying, and I just, I don't know.

I, I just don't have them.

Is there anyone that this would worry or say, "Well, it'll keep me up late tonight"?

They all keep me up late.

I, I really, yeah, it's not a good feeling, putting your team in a hole game after game.

So, yeah, I mean, I wish I could say I'm just gonna, you know, wipe it off and get to the next one, but I'm not.

And, yeah, I don't know.

Is there anyone you lean on in the clubhouse, family, friend, anyone that you talk to when you're struggling in general?

Yeah, I mean, everybody's pretty great.

all the starters, we talk pretty much every inning or every, every, between every start.

you know, my mom tells me I'm doing fine.

It's, it's just, it's baseball, you know?

And it's, it's kicking my ass right now.
