Seattle Mariners Now Suffering From Too Much Uncertainty at Key Spots
Bryan Woo was knocked around on Thursday night as the M's lost to the Baltimore Orioles. They'll continue their 10-game road trip on Friday night in Washington.

As for what's, quote, "wrong" with Bryan Wu and why is he struggling on the road, w- in my mind, and maybe this is too simplistic, Bryan Wu has a repertoire that has worked for him for a while of being fastball dominant, and other teams know this.
They know two things.
They know he's going to throw strikes.
They know he's going to throw fastballs.
And when he puts it where he wants to, even if they know it's coming, he still has a very high rate of success.
But if he misses a little up or a little down or a little left or a little right, then you start to see problems, and you start to see guys that are ultra-aggressive in jumping on it.
I think you have to be one of two things if you are Bryan Wu, and again, maybe this is too simplistic.
But it feels to me like, A, you have to be pinpoint with your control, and again, throw it where you want to, because even if you, even if they know what's coming and you throw it where you want to, they're not going to hit it.
Or you've gotta start to be a little more unpredictable, and I thought that we saw that for a bit with Bryan Wu, where it was more change-ups, more sliders, more pitching backwards.
And how much of this is Cal not being here to call the game?
Maybe some of it, maybe none of it.
But we'll start to find out some things as Cal Raleigh works back here, and again, hopefully by Tuesday at the start of the new home stand, Cal Raleigh will be back in the lineup and behind the plate.
Maybe that will work wonders for some of these guys in the rotation.
But it is a tough spot to be in when you have f- questions in three to four of your five or six rotation spots, and that is where the Mariners are at right now, and it's hard to win that way.
