Conor McGregor applauds Ian Garry's response to UFC 330 defeat

Conor McGregor publicly praised Ian Garry's response to his loss at UFC 330 after an unsuccessful welterweight title bid. The Conor McGregor reaction followed a social media video in which Ian Garry outlined his post-fight mindset and refused to dwell on the defeat. Garry dropped a unanimous decision to Islam Makhachev in the Philadelphia main event, where Makhachev extended his UFC winning streak to 17 straight victories. McGregor commented "Champion mindset!" after previously predicting a knockout win for his compatriot. Garry said Makhachev was the better man on the night and vowed to learn from the experience, reiterating a positive outlook the following day.
